Well, here we are again and this is our last challenge from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps until the New Year! I would like to wish all of you a Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year.
As the title says, our challenge this week, which is from our lovely hostess Elaine, is to create a card or other craft with a warm theme or a warm colour scheme. I thought I'd try to do both to be safe. I used one of my favourite snowman images as he's enjoying a lovely mug of hot chocolate or something similar. He looks like he's warm and toasty anyway.
I used some lovely warm toned Father Christmas Collection papers from Bo Bunny. I used my own layout, sometimes I can't come up with anything and have to look for a sketch and sometimes it just works without doing that. I was happy with this one anyway and it gives me a spare card in case I have forgotten somebody. Bonus!
Well, I hope you will have great fun coming up with a creation of your own. Be sure to link them up to the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog for a chance to win the stamp Elaine has used, which is 'Christmas is Love'. I have made a card with this image and I love it. So unique and as always Elaine has done a wonderful job with hers.
Well, Merry Christmas and Happy Crafting,
Diana

I cut out the image layer with my rectangular Nesties and made a frame from the new In Color Gumball Green using my large scalloped Nesties. I forget the name of the papers I used, but I matted them onto some retired Marigold Morning cardstock and used a card base of Lovely Lilac, which is also retired. I really don't know what I'll do when I run out of all these retired papers! I put some Gumball Green stitched ribbon across the middle and added the sentiment 'Have a Monster of A Party' using a scrap of Marigold Morning, then finished with three glittery pink hearts.

Best Fur-iends!
Hi everyone and welcome to our second day of previews for the Kraftin' Kimmie December Release. Today we are showing you a new Lulu, Libby, Lexi and Lucas set. They are three super adorable images and we girls all love to 'play' with them.
I have used the image of Lulu and Libby bathing the dog. So cute. I used Tangerine Tango for my card base and for the scalloped frame around the image, also on the sentiment. I coloured the image with my trusty Copics, then I put some Crystal Effects on all the bubbles. The patterned paper is 'Bloom and Grow' by Zoe Pearn. I've had it years but I still love it. I matted it onto some retired S.U. Cool Caribbean and also used a little scrap for the sentiment. It comes with the set, along with 4 other sentiments. The other images are Lucas with his puppy and Lexi sitting with her cat.

November Release and Krafty Hop!! Oh and Awesome Sale too!!
Well, here we are finally!! Time for the newest Kraftin' Kimmie Release! I have to say that I think this is one of the very best we have had. As you will all know by now, we have the 6 Travel Girls from 6 different countries. As always, our amazingly talented Annie Rodrigue has outdone herself. She always manages to create the exact image Kimmie is looking for.
Next, we have the Off We Go set from Cheryl. Lexi and Lucas are so adorable going to sleep overs and such. Also Cheryl has made us a beautiful set of scriptural verses and matching images. I love them, they are so perfect for a lot of the cards I make.
Last and by no means least are the Cute-a-saurus collection from the wonderful Emilie Goulet. These are the cutest dinosaurs you will ever see. Check out the gorgeous cards made by the Krafty Girls.
To top that all off, we have a wonderful new set of Trinkets with this Release and yes, you've guessed it, they are Travel Trinkets. So lovely!!
As if that weren't enough, Kimmie is now having a GIANT sale. I think I'm quite safe in saying this is the biggest sale ever. I know because I spent an entire day with my darling daughter going through every stamp in every container. Kim is not only putting current stamps on sale, but she is also bringing back some of her retired stamps and they will all be on sale!! Wow!! So check them out in case there are any you wanted and didn't get before they were retired before. You may well find them among these. You will find all of this and more at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.
Well, now to my card. I used Svetlana as I think she is my favourite of the Travel Girls. I also used one of the Travel Trinkets on my card as a sentiment. I used some 'It's the Little Things' patterned paper by Fancy Pants. I love to use black on my cards, so these papers gave me the opportunity. I was then able to use black for my card base and also for the frame around my image.
So that's my card, be sure to visit the rest of the Krafty Girls and see what creations they all have to show. And don't forget to leave a comment on each and every blog as some lucky ladies will win packages of the new stamps!! Woo Hoo!!
Happy stamping and commenting,

Kraftin' Kimmie November Previews!
Well Hi to everyone, it's been a busy week here at Kraftin' Kimmie Central, the big boss has been preparing for the November Release!! We have some awesome images for you this month, I hope you are going to love them as much as I do. Today we are showing you previews of our new Travel Trinkets. They are such fun to use, either as the focal point of your card or as your sentiment. Now I'm a little weird, so I thought I'd use is with an older image and not really a travel one as such. I thought it would be so cute to use the 'Enjoy the View' Trinket with the cute doggie from Canine Capers 2. He does look like he's enjoying the view, doesn't he? I love to see dogs looking out of car windows, they look so adorable. I'm not sure that it's a really safe thing to do though!!
I used a card base of Tangerine Tango, matted some Early Espresso onto it, then some very doggified Max and Whiskers paper from Basic Grey. I added a bone embellie and some beige twill tape. The pup was coloured with my Copic Markers on Neenah White cardstock. I stamped the Trinket onto some Whisper White using Tangerine Tango ink, then cut out a die in Early Espresso to set it on. Hope you like this preview, be sure to see what all the other gals have for you and come back tomorrow for some more previews. You will find directions to the other gals blogs at Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog.
See ya later,

Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge #154!
Good morning everyone! I hope you have all woken to a beautiful and stress free Saturday! This week our Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge is to use the theme of food or drink on your card. Our very talented Krafty Kerry provided us with this weeks challenge. I had a great time choosing this one as there are quite a lot of Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps that are related to food and drink.
I used the Baking Elf, is she not cute? And doesn't her pie look delicious? She was fun to colour with my Copics and I cut her out using one of my Nesties, then framed her using a larger one in Ruby Red, which is also the colour of the card base. My patterned papers are Holly Jolly Christmas from EP. I love the music sheet! I matted the paper onto Wild Wasabi, then the red card base. I also used one of the Trinkets from the Holiday Trinkets set, stamping it with Wild Wasabi ink, punching it out with my 1 3/8 circle punch, then setting it onto a frame made in Ruby Red, using one of my MFT dies. I finished off with some ruby gems in the corners.
So now we would like you to create your own food and drink themed card or other crafty item. One of your creations will be randomly chosen and if it's you, you will win the lovely Grace stamp, perfect for Christmas as she is baking her gingerbread cookies.
Have fun and I'll be checking your beautiful entries during the week.
Happy crafting,
Diana

Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge #152! Musical Inspiration!!
Good morning Krafty people!! This week, as the title says, we are to create a project inspired in some way by music. Elaine is our super duper hostess this week and her project is beautiful. Now we have plenty of images to choose from, especially as all of the Annie images in the latest October Release are dancers. I expect some of the other girls will have done awesome things with some of them. Always having to be awkward, I wanted to do something different. This is one of my favourite snowman images ever and is from our very talented artist Emilie Goulet. This one always makes me think of the song 'Walking in a Winter Wonderland'. Fortunately for me, Kraftin' Kimmie has that sentiment in her Holidays Sentiments set.
So I made an A2 size card, which I rarely do any more. I used some gorgeous Very Merry Christmas papers from Echo Park. My card base is kraft and I matted the green snowflake paper onto some Cranberry Crisp and then some Wild Wasabi cardstock. After colouring my snowman and his birdie friends, I added some Stardust Stickles, then cut out the image using my Circle Nesties. I framed it using one of my Pinking Circles dies on some more Cranberry Crisp CS. I used kraft paper for the sentiment, which I heat embossed using.... do you believe it... Winter Wonderland white embossing powder. I added a few musical notes, also using kraft CS. Lastly, I added a clear snowflake in the top right corner after putting some Stardust Stickles all over it to give it a bit of sparkle.
So that's it. I'll bet you can come up with a creation inspired by music. We look forward to seeing them all up until next Friday, when Kim will draw a random winner, who will win the stamp Elaine has used on her creation, which is Aurelia the angel. Just link up your project to Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog.

Release Day and Krafty Hop at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!
Hi everyone. Well, it's finally here, time for the October Release of stamps from Kraftin' Kimmie!! Yay!! We have so many great stamps for you this month and you will find them all at the Kraftin' Kimmie Shop!
For my card today, I am using one of the cute babies from the Oh Baby! set. This little guy sure wants to be picked up, doesn't he? Does this look familiar to anyone? It sure reminds me of days gone by.
I used my circle Nesties to cut out my coloured image, then sponged around the outside while the image was still in the die. I framed that layer with my Lacy Circles die. I used Nana's Nursery Baby Boy patterned papers, stitched around the outsides of the papers and added a few pearls to match the retired Morning Marigold cardstock I used for the base and for the sentiment, which comes with the set, along with a few others. The green cardstock is Wild Wasabi. Oh, and I finished off with some Wild Wasabi seam binding ribbon.
You will see lots more creations as you hop around and don't forget. Some lucky folks are going to win some packages of the new gorgeous rubber.
Have fun,
Diana

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge 148! Use your favourite KK Stamp!
Hi fellow stampers, here we are again! Time for yet another Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge. This week our lovely hostess is Sheri and she would like us to use our favourite Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp. Well, we have had this one a time or two before, but I never tire of it because my favourite KK Stamp changes quite frequently. At the moment my fave is Eliza. She looks like Eliza Doolittle from 'My Fair Lady' and that's one of Emileigh's and my favourite musicals. I think this stamp is so elegant and she was such fun to colour. I used a simple layout as I thought the patterned paper was quite busy enough already. The cardstock colours I used are Rose Red and Early Espresso by S.U. I used some dark cream ribbon across the centre of the red panel, put a bow on it and cut out a swirl using an MFT die.
We hope you will join us for this week's challenge and use your favourite Kraftin' Kimmie stamp on a card or other creation. The randomly chosen winner will receive the gorgeous Marilyn stamp, which is what Sheri has used on her card Check it out along with all the other creations by going to Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog. All the stamps we have used are available at Kraftin' Kimmie's Shop.
Don't forget to check out the Frugal Friday specials, which you will also find at Kraftin' Kimmie's Shop. They are all 40-50% off until Sunday night.
Have a great weekend and we hope to see your creations linked up on the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog this week.

Fall Colours!
Hi everyone, hope you are enjoying a lovely weekend. We Krafty Girls have been having fun making cards in fall colours. This week's challenge comes from our own lovely Kim O'Connell. I love fall, but it's hard to believe that summer is over and in fact the first day of fall was yesterday. Wow, where has that summer gone? It's really true, the older you get, the faster the time goes by.
I have used the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz collection by Annie Rodrigue. Isn't he just so cute and sassy? It was so much fun colouring him to match my fall papers. The card stocks I used are Always Artichoke from S.U., which believe it or not is current. I seem to use a lot of retired colours, which is what the other colour is, it's Morning Marigold, which I love. I wish they would bring it back before I run out of it. As you can see, my card is very simple, but I seem to like them that way. I used a border of A. Artichoke and used a border punch, which I can't remember the name of, but it's a Fiskars punch. I put a strip of shiny copper coloured rick rack across the centre. It doesn't show up in the photo, but it really is very shiny and matches the copper brads I used on the sentiment layer, but they don't show up either. I used Labels 6 Nesties for the image and then I drew around the die to make a frame in A. Artichoke, which is slightly larger than the image layer. I cut it out and it makes a great frame. I also used a smaller Labels 6 Nestie for the sentiment, which comes from Kimmie's Thankful Sentiments. I added a cute little pumpkin embellie and that's it.
Be sure to hop on over to Kraftin' Kimmie's Shop to see the Frugal Friday Specials which will be on sale till Sunday night. They are all 40-50% off. This week's goodies are Tara, Toymaker Elf, Angie, Henri, Moaning Moira and Wendy.
So now your mission (ha ha!) is to make a fall card for us all to see. Be sure to link it up to Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog for a chance to win the adorable Lulu and her Bear, which is the stamp Kim used.
Happy Stamping,
Diana

Last Preview and Sketch Challenge Before the Krafty Hop!!
Well, what do you know, it's Saturday again and time for a sketch challenge. We usually have a sketch challenge on the Saturday before a new release and this time is no exception. You will find the template for this week's sketch at Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog. I have pretty much followed it and for my card, I used the very cute Madeline and her little cat. I used Basic Grey Wassail patterned papers on my card. I love the muted greys and greens in these papers. As usual I coloured Penelope using my Copics and I doodled around the edge of the image layer. I matted her onto some retired True Thyme card stock from S.U. and then onto some also retired Cranberry Crisp C.S. I put a wide strip of the paper behind the image layer and bordered it with True Thyme. I put a piece of white behind that and used a snowflake border at the bottom. I used some Soft Suede ribbon on the strip, which actually matches the True Thyme and put a poinsetta at the top edge. I stamped the sentiment 'Raindrops on Roses and Whiskers on Kittens', which comes with the stamp and I cut it out using one of my Nesties, then I sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink. The finishing touch was some tiny gold jingle bells, which were given to me by the very sweet and generous Kerry of 'Cards By Kerry', also a fellow team mate.
The sketch has been provided by our fabulous and fun Sheri and she has used Grace for her card, so some lucky stamper will win that stamp. I also forgot to mention one very important thing, which is that today we are showing all Annie's new stamps. Make sure you check out all the blogs of the other design team members, leave a comment at each of them for a chance to win some of the new Annie stamps. They are all wonderful and I can't wait to colour the rest of them.
Don't forget to come back tomorrow for our Krafty Hop and a chance to win some more rubber, and all of the new images will be available at Kraftin' Kimmie's Shop!!
See you tomorrow,
Diana

Previewing Emilie's September Release Stamps for Kraftin' Kimmie!
Hello all you stampers,
Today I have a preview card using one of the gorgeous Emilie images, soon to be available at Kraftin' Kimmie's Shop!! On Sunday at 1 a.m. in fact. Woo Hoo, you are going to love them.
I have used Christmas Is Love and I guess this little gal is a gift wrapping elf. I had fun working with her. I even had a little left over zeal for paper piecing from last week's challenge, so I paper pieced her sash and bow. Therefore I have used 4 different papers on this card. I made 3 strips of different lengths and cut the ends into flags. I added some star buttons at the top of each, then I used some green baker's twine across the front and added some to a little candy cane button and placed it in the bottom corner. The card base is poppy parade from S.U. and so is the frame around the image. I matted some Pool Party C.S., also from S.U. onto the base, behind the 'word' paper.
O.K., so come back tomorrow to see what other new eye candy we have for you. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Don't forget to leave some love at the blogs of each of the designers for a chance to win some lovely Emilie rubber. 2 lucky gals will each win a package of some of the stamps.
I'll be back tomorrow,
Happy stamping,
Diana

Challenge 145!! Paper Piecing!!
Well, here we are again, time for another Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge. This week our lovely hostess is the very talented Jesse and as the title says, she would like us to do some paper piecing on our cards. I love to paper piece, but I tend to forget to do it. However, after I did this card, I even did some on one of my preview cards for next weekends September Release. Wow, can you believe it's time again for a fabulous release!! Anyway, I digress as usual. I took the opportunity to use this very sweet Caroline image and make a card for a baby shower I'm going to today. Caroline is perfect for paper piecing and was fun to do. I used some soft and pretty MM Flower Patch patterned papers. My card is very simple, but I added some stitching to give it a bit more oomph! The card base and inside image frame is good old retired Blush Blossom from S.U. and the green is current S.U. Wild Wasabi, which I find I use so much, it seems to work with so many patterned papers. I used the sentiment 'You Glow Girl', which comes with the stamp along with the sentiment 'Expecting A Package?'. I added a few green half pearls and that's it. Plain, but I like it.
So now it's your turn to do some paper piecing. We love to see your creations and the winner will receive the new Lola Lollipop stamp. She is my favourite of the Candy Girls which were released last month for Hallowe'en.
Be sure to pop on over to Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamp Shop and check out this weeks' Frugal Friday stamps. They are all 40-50% off and will be available until Sunday night.
Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Stamping,
Diana

Kraftin' Kimmie Kraft Challenge and Sale too!!
Good Saturday morning to all you lovely crafters out there. I sincerely hope you are having a great weekend. It's going to be another hot one here in Southwestern Ontario. Tomorrow we are into September, can you believe that?
Anyway, this weekend, the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge is to use kraft cardstock on your card somewhere. Our hostess is the uber talented Amanda. I love her work!
For my card I used one of the very cute Snips and Snails stamps. There are 3 stamps in the set and I love them as I'm always needing masculine cards, both for little guys and big guys. This set is perfect. I stamped this little guy on Neenah white cardstock and of course coloured him with my trusty Copics. The patterned papers I used belonged to my DD Kimmie as I was at a Krafty Party at her house on the weekend. I wanted to work on my card for this challenge and none of the packs of papers I took would work with Kraft cardstock, so as usual it was Kimmie to the rescue. Thanks Kim!!
The image was cut out with my Deckle Nesties and I sponged around the outside with wheat chalk ink before I took it out of the die. I used Baja Breeze on the photo corners, the border on the striped piece and also for the tag. The 'Oh Boy' comes with the Snips and Snails set along with several other cute sentiments. I added a piece of twill tape down the centre and gathered it with twine through a brown button. I matted it all onto Pumpkin Pie CS, then onto a card base of kraft. So that's it, I hope you all have some kraft CS to work with, it's great for so many projects, so I always have some on hand. We can't wait to see your creations. The randomly chosen card will win the stamp Amanda is using on her card, which is the Fortune Teller from the new Special Release called THREE WISHES.
We have some more GREAT NEWS! Kimmie is having yet another SALE this week. Instead of the 6 Frugal Friday Specials, she has put a whole bunch of stamps on sale. Go to Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps shop and click on Deals, Deals, Deals to see all the bargains. Even some of the Lulu stamps are on sale and everyone loves those.
Well, I'm looking forward to seeing your crafty creations, so I'll be looking for you!!

Kraftin' Kimmie's Previews and Challenge 142!!
Well, here we are again, we are not only posting previews for Kraftin' Kimmie's August Release, but we have a challenge for you as well. This week it's a sketch and a great one it is too! Our fantastic Krafty Girl Pam Varnell is our hostess for this week's challenge and so she has provided the sketch for us. I don't know how to get the sketch onto my blog here, but you will find it on Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog.
Also, today is the day we are revealing the new Annie stamps for Hallowe'en and they are all gorgeous. I am using Lola Lollipop, which incidentally is the image Pam is using, so the winner of this week's challenge will receive that stamp.
I used retired Brilliant Blue cardstock for my card base and my patterned paper is Tea at Elsie's from Kaisercraft. I love the colours in these papers and have been hoarding the pad for a long time, but finally gave in to using it for this girly image. For my partial circle a la sketch, I used my Spellbinders Butterfly Circles. I used a Scallop Border Punch on the blue strip along the bottom and added some peach satin ribbon. I used some Prima and other flowers in the top corner. I coloured the image with Copics and doodled around the edge. I stamped 'Sweet' on some of the patterned papers and cut it out using an MFT die. This stamp comes with the sentiment 'We'll lick this together!'.
Now make sure you leave comments at each of our blogs for a chance to win win one of 3 Annie stamps that our generous leader Kimmie is giving away.
Have fun and we can't wait to see your creations with Pam's sketch!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps showing Emilie's Images!!
Hi there and Happy Friday to you all! Today we are showing Emilie Goulet's gorgeous images created especially for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. She has outdone herself once again and one of her creations is this Baby and Pumpkins stamp. Isn't it just adorable? I love it. Such personality on the pumpkin faces and not a bit scary. This one comes in a set of 3 stamps and the other 2 are just as cute. One is a little trick or treater dressed as a lion and the other is a cute little ghost peeking out from behind a gravestone. This set is called Too Cute to Spook 1 and there is a Too Cute to Spook 2 as well.
I used some lovely fall papers, but I've had them a while and I don't know whose they are. I used my own layout and the cardstocks are of course orange and Early Espresso is the brown. I used my S.U. tag punches to make the sentiment layer and of course the saying comes with the stamp set along with several other sentiments. I added a little pumpkin button at the bottom and that's it!
Be sure to leave a comment at the blog of each of the girls today and 2 lucky ladies will each win one of the sets of Emilie Hallowe'en stamps. How cool is that?!!
Be sure to come back tomorrow for our weekly challenge and we will be showing our fabulous new Annie Hallowe'en stamps. You won't be disappointed.
Happy Stampin',

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge 14! Use An Animal Or Insect On Your Card!! No People!!
I have used the butterfly from 'Bug Buddies 1'. I think he or she is adorable, I don't know how Emilie does it, but with just a couple of little strokes from her pen, she has given this butterfly a look of sheer joy. I used the 'Oh Happy Day' sentiment from the 'Sugar and Spice' set as I thought it was perfect.
I used some retired So Saffron for the card base and the sentiment layer, which I cut out using a small Nesties Scalloped Circle die. The patterned papers are Berry Sweet by K. and Company. I matted the background on Rose Red, cut out the Scalloped Circle frame for the image, also in Rose Red and the border behind the green strip is also Rose Red. I then added some flowers and leaves to the upper left side.
So now let's see your creations using an animal or an insect. Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps has lots of choices and if you use one of them, you are in the running to win the cute bears.
Happy Stamping,
Diana

Out of the Box with Kraftin' Kimmie!
Well, can you believe we are into August already? Wow, where has the summer gone? It sure does feel like August though, it was crazy hot here in South West Ontario today.
Well, this week our Krafty Hostess is the uber talented and sweet Kerry. She is challenging us to use the 'Out of the Box' technique. I must say I was scared to death about doing this one and nearly declined, but on watching one of the online tutorials, I realized it was no big deal after all. Mind you, if you stick with a simple one like I did, there is nothing to it at all. Now I've done it once I may try something a little more challenging next time.
I inked up the Mad Hatter from Kraftin' Kimmie's 'Alice in Wonderland' set. I have been wanting to colour him for ages and had never got to it before. It was great fun to work with. Also I seem to be always needing a masculine card and not having one, so this one will work perfectly. I have 2 crazy brothers and either of them would appreciate this card. We all have our Dad's weird sense of humour.
Anyway, I kept the card simple, especially as I wanted to show the main background paper, which is perfect for this stamp. Do you see the tea set down in the corner? Even the little teapot charm is similar to the one in the papers. I used the out of the box technique to leave the mad hatter's top hat outside of the frame. I used chalk ink around the outside of the main image to frame it. The pieces of blue and green patterned papers are matted onto vanilla, the same as the card base, although it's hard to see in this picture. I added a couple of brown buttons and the sentiment 'We're all mad here!' I love that.
So check out Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog to see which of the other Krafty Girls has a card for you to see, then show us your own creations. Have fun stamping,

Summer Colours - KK Challenge 139!!
Well, it's Saturday again ladies and time for another Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge. Are you ready for this one? Our Krafty Girl Pam Varnell would like us to use summer colours and a summer theme on our creations.
I decided to ink up one of the adorable little Gnomes from the 'What's Up Gnomie' set. I coloured my little gardening gnome with my Copics and framed the rectangular image layer with some retired Buckaroo Blue, then some bright yellow. I used some of the lovely Picadilly patterned papers for my layout, framing them with the blue and some Tangerine Tango. The card base is also bright yellow. I added some yummy polka dotted Tangerine Tango ribbon, threading a cute brass buckle through it. I used the sentiment 'There's Gnomeone Like You' on the yellow and punched it out with a punch I forget the name of. There, I think it's bright and summery enough. Now it's time for you to make a card using bright summery colours and one lucky lady will win the beautiful mermaid from 'Sea Jewels' that Pam is using on her fabulous card.
Don't forget that since yesterday Kraftin' Kimmie has the Frugal Friday Specials and they are available until Sunday night. This week they are:- Potionmaster, Angry Ballerina, Roxy, Butterflies Flutter By, Frank 'n' Kitty and Bookworm Jaime. As always they are from 40 - 50% off, so happy shopping. You will find all these great stamps at Kraftin' Kimmie's Shop.
Can't wait to see your bright and summery creations.

Ribbon Carousel and Kraftin' Kimmie Blog Hop!! Whoopee!!
Oh BOY! Hang on to your hats! We have a TREAT for you today!
The Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Girls are so excited to be teaming up with the Ribbon Carousel Crewmates to bring you a blog hop that is sure to knock your socks off!
We girls are all so excited to be joining the Ribbon Carousel folks for this fun blog hop. I am using this awesome 2 sided satin ribbon on my card. It's a lovely bright orange which is a perfect match for the S.U. retired Only Orange card stock. Boy am I glad I still have some left. On the other side, the ribbon is a delicious pink and I wanted both colours to show. I managed to find some patterned papers that had both colours in them, so they worked great. I matted them onto the Only Orange, then onto a Gable Green card base. I stamped the sentiment onto some more Gable Green and added some bright orange button, which I had threaded with pink embroidery floss.
I coloured the cute Kraftin' Kimmie image from the set 'Lulu on the Move' and I paper pieced her little dress with some more of the patterned papers. It's hard to see but it has little yellow dots on it and is the same as the scalloped frame around the image. This was a fun card and I can't wait to send it to a little girl. Hope you are having fun on the blog hop. I know we have had fun getting our cards ready for it.

Okay, so that's the important stuff out of the way, now to my card. I got to play with one of the Birthday Lulu Set, they are all so cute. I used Cupcake Lulu. I used some retired Gable Green for my card base and for the frame around the image layer. My patterned papers are Tickled Pink from MME, aren't they cute? I put a square of one pattern onto some Pumpkin Pie cardstock, then cut out a circle of the orange pattern and cut it into 4 pieces and placed it close to the corners. I cut a strip of the cherry pattern, matted it onto some more Pumpkin Pie and glued it down the centre. I cut out the image layer using one of my Labels Nesties, then drew around the outside of the die using some more Gable Green C.S. and cut it out to make a frame. I also added one of the new Birthday Trinkets, stamping it on white using Baja Breeze ink, then I cut out a Scalloped Circle from one of my Nesties. I just added a couple of cute little cupcake embellies to finish it off.
Now if you are already hopping, you will have arrived here from the blog of the super talented Alice. If not, you will want to begin at Kimmie's Challenge Blog. From here you will go to the blog of our own amazing artist Emilie. Wow, am I in great company!!
Happy Hopping,

Let's Go Dotty!
Okay, so it's the last Preview card before the July Kraftin' Kimmie Release and Krafty Blog Hop! Today we are featuring all the new stamps from our fabulous Annie Rodrigue. This month the theme is Hollywood and they are all just fabulous!! I am using Gene, who of course does look a little like Gene Kelly, doesn't he? I am a big Gene Kelly fan and have lots of his movies. I love old musicals and have quite a collection of them. Happily I can say that my darling granddaughter has inherited that love of old movies and we have spent many an evening watching them together since she was quite little. She is now 20 and collects them herself.
This week's challenge is to use dots on your card. They can be in your papers, in your ribbon or whatever. Just have fun and a random winner will be chosen and will get to choose either Lana or Marilyn as our hostess Cheryl is using both those stamps on her absolutely awesome card!!
For my card base I used River Rock cardstock with some retired Close to Cocoa matted onto it. I used S.U. Apple Cider patterned papers and did some stitching around most of the layers. I added some River Rock Ribbon across the centre and added one of the new Birthday Trinkets, which are also being released on Sunday. I finished off with a few brown half pearls.
To see the creations of all the other girls, go to Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog for the list. Don't forget to leave some love at all of the girls blogs for a chance to win some of the new Annie stamps.
Be sure to come back tomorrow for the release of all the new stamps as well as some more creations with these gorgeous new images. Join in our awesome blog hop and leave some comments for a chance at winning some more new rubber!!
See you tomorrow,
Diana

Day 2 of Kraftin' Kimmie's July Release Previews!
Hi everyone and it's Thursday, time for the second lot of previews for Kraftin' Kimmie's July Release. Today we are showing some more Lulus from the fabulously talented Cheryl. This month we have Birthday Lulu, which as usual come in a set of 3 and they have 5 adorable sentiments to choose from. I am using Lulu's Party Dress, doesn't she look so cute and happy with herself in it?
I do have to tell you that in real life, the image frame and the sentiment layer are much closer to the tones of the patterned papers. I just could not get a natural looking photo. Anyway, I coloured Libby with my trusty Copics and sponged around the die frame with a green chalk ink before removing the cardstock. I then took the die and drew around the outside on the pink cardstock to create a frame for the image layer. I used some lovely Daisy D Sweet Baby Jane patterned papers. I have had them a long time, but I just love them. I matted each layer of paper onto some light green cardstock and the base is white. I heat embossed the sentiment on pink, using Winter White embossing powder. I wanted to keep the look soft, so I didn't use black ink. I added some lovely sheer white ribbon and a bow across the centre and finished it off with a couple of ice cream cone embellies on the right. I was quite happy with this one and I had fun making it.
Now go and check out the blogs of all the other Krafty Girls and make sure you leave a comment at each of our blogs for a chance to be the lucky winner of a set of these lovely Birthday Lulus.
You will find the list of all the participating Krafty Girls on Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog. Some of us will be back tomorrow with creations using some more of the July Release stamps. I will be back on Saturday and you won't want to miss seeing what the girls have done with Saturdays stamps.
All of these babies will be available on Sunday morning at Kraftin' Kimmie's Shop when we will have another great Krafty Hop and some of you ladies will win some more new stamps. So keep watching and keep commenting.
See you on Saturday,
Blessings,
Diana

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge #136 Use your favourite Kraftin' Kimmie stamp!
Well, hi and Happy Saturday to all of you stamping fiends out there. For all of our friends in the States and Canada, we hope you are coping with this crazy intense heat. It's so hot and humid it's scary. I feel so very sorry for those folks who are without power etc. It must be just horrific for them.
Well, as the title says, this week our challenge is to use our favourite Kraftin' Kimmie stamp. Well, to be honest, I have quite a few favourites, so it's hard to choose. I decided to pick my current favourite masculine stamps, which is Captain Hook from the latest Kraftin' Kimmie Release. I couldn't wait to colour him. I had already made a card with Smee, which I also love, but this Hook character looks so intense and so real, I wanted to use him. I used my own layout, the papers are 'The Tradewinds' by DCWV. I just cut pieces in different shapes and sizes and arranged them after matting them with some River Rock and some retired True Thyme cardstock. The card base is made from the new S.U. cardstock Cajun Craze, so is the frame around the main image. I added some linen thread, attached an anchor charm and the sentiment 'Ya Scalliwag', which comes with Captain Hook along with the other sentiment 'I'm Hooked On You'!
Now I have to mention that Kraftin' Kimmie is now back in full swing with the store and all the stamps are now available again after 2 months of living in a temporary home and it being impossible to take everything with her. To celebrate being back at full tilt, Kimmie is having an amazing huge sale. EVERYTHING in the store is on sale including the new release and all the goodies are 10-50% off. Wow, now that's a sale.
Also to celebrate, Kimmie is inviting you to apply to be a guest designer for her if you are interested. Woo Hoo, who wants to give it a try. The details will be on Kimmie's Challenge Blog. Be sure to check it out, we know there are a LOT of you out there who do fantastic work and we would be proud to have you.
Have a wonderful Kraftin' weekend.
Blessings to all,
Diana
