Hip, Hip, Hooray! It's Wonderful Wednesday!!

Well, Happy Wednesday to you lovely folks.  I have a card for today using Kraftin' Kimmie's Make A Wish stamp set.  I love this one, there are about 8 great sentiments, which you can use as the focal point on the front of your card or on the inside.

I made this card for my brother in England and I'm happy to say he really liked it.  I used the Hip Hip Hooray sentiment and the patterned paper is Doodlebug 'Fall Friends'.  It's just a simple card, as you can see.  The card stock is Tangerine Tango for the base and the matting on the rest is Old Espresso.  I added some turquoise twill tape behind the sentiment and a few metallic dots on the sentiment layer.

Be sure to head on over to Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps to see some of the other fabulous stamps and other items in the shop.

Happy Stamping,
Diana

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps November Release and Blog Hop!!!

Good morning everyone!  Today is finally the day for the release of Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!  I have to say, I just think the artists are doing a better and better job every month.  I just adore this whole release.

I just had to make a card with sweet Lucas sitting on a pile of books and reading along with his cute little kitty, from the Happiness is Reading set.  This stamp was lots of fun to colour with my trusty Copics.  The patterned paper is Enchanted Garden Collection from Bo Bunny.  The card base and most of the matting was done with a very old retired S.U. card stock called Orchid Opulence.  It matches perfectly with the Bo Bunny papers.  I used a matching doillie behind the image layer, which was placed on some pretty green patterned paper.  I added some twine and a few matching buttons as well.  I added the sentiment "Happiness is Reading" from the set, which includes a very cute Lulu, also reading.  There are 4 more sentiments with the set, all perfect for readers.

We have three amazing sets from artist, Becky Pearce including PERFECT PLANNER, OH CROP! and ONE CUP AT A TIME! Then we shared a sweet set for the readers in your life by artist, Cheryl Grant called HAPPINESS IS READING! Then there's a fabulous TEEN set from artist Emilie Goulet called ‪#‎ALLSTAR‬! And lastly came that beautiful couple from artist, Annie Rodrigue called LET'S CELEBRATE!

You will get to see ALL of the new images today as you sit back and enjoy our November Krafty Hop! When you’re done hoppin’, be sure to head over to the Kraftin’Kimmie shop, because ALL the new CLEAR stamp sets are NOW available!! And don't forget...if you NEED it all, we have a Gimme Kimmies Kit which features ALL the new November stamps at a discount!! But only for a limited time!
We've also got lots of new holiday paper pads in the shop plus buttons, sequins, Wink of Stella, Liquid Applique and lots more! All set for those winter and holiday creations!

Certainly Celery card stock for the Kraftin' Kimmie sentiment, which is from the Make A Wish set!  I love this sentiment and there are lots of other lovely ones.  I used my Butterfly Spellbinders set to make two frames, one in the burgundy and the other one pink.  I just added a burgundy bow and there we are.

For my little creation, I used the little Elf girl in the Made By Elves set by Emilie Goulet, from the September Release.  I thought it worked so nicely with the sentiment from the new release's Christmas Cheer set.  I mean she is probably going to deck the halls with the popcorn, don't you think?  My card base was Smoky Slate to pick up the grey in my big snowflake die cut out.  The patterned papers are Doodlebug Home for the Holidays.  I matted the green polka dotted square onto some Poppy Parade card stock, which I also used for the Deck the Halls sentiment.  I added some Lime Green stickles around the image layer and put some red gems above the image and also on the grey snowflake.  Such fun!  I know I will be using all these lovely Christmas sentiments on my cards, there are 8 altogether and they are perfect.
Now let's celebrate with our NEW RELEASE and get hoppin' and shoppin'!!http://www.kraftinkimmiestamps.com/

It's Wonderful Wednesday time!! We hope you can play along!! As always....it's ANYTHING GOES!! Break out your Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and get krafty!!
I have been having so much fun with this one of the stamps from the Spooktacular set.  I love making fall cards and I know this is going to become an all time favourite of mine.  I used a card base of Tangerine Tango by S.U.  I stamped the image with Old Olive onto some cream card stock.  Using my Spellbinders, I cut it out, then matted it onto some more Tangerine Tango.  Then I framed it all with some old olive, using my Scallop edge Nesties.  I even tried using some Frantage on it, which you can't see very well in the photo, but I am happy with the result.  I used patterned papers from Bo Bunny called Enchanted Harvest.  I added some orange Sprinkles on the green papers and finished off with an orange gingham ribbon.  Love it, I know just whom to send it to.
There are only a few of the Halloween & the Holiday Kard Kits left... get yours before they are gone!
We want EVERYONE to be able to play along so your submission can use ANY stamp and can be any theme, any style, any design and it can be a card, a scrapbook page, an altered item....you name it!! Omigoodness!! It's Time For A Very Special New Release From Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

This is my sample card for the new Kraftin' Kimmie Christmas Card Kit.  Kimmie gave me a portion of a kit to make this and in fact I had lots left over.  You can see the special stamp, which is being released just for the kit.  Isn't it the most adorable Santa and elf image you have ever seen?  I love it!!
I coloured the image with my ever trusty Copic markers, then matted it onto some rich dark green card stock, which comes with the kit.  I used one sheet of the patterned papers for my background, which is also matted onto the dark green, then onto a card base of cream.  I used some of my other sheet of patterned paper to make the strips, which I matted onto a yummy red card stock, which also came with my little mini kit.  I stamped one of the lovely sentiments onto red and punched it out with my ticket punch.  Then I added some of the lovely red and white twine and added a couple of mini gold jingle bells.  The finishing touch was three wood veneer stars in different sizes.  Easy peasy!!

This was so much fun, can't wait to make another Christmas card with this very cute image.
Be sure to hop over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop and check out all the wonderful papers, cardstocks and embellishments you'll get in this kit, as well as the fabulous new CLEAR stamp set called NO PEEKING! And don't forget to check out all the other NEW stamp sets and goodies in the shop!
Happy hoppin'!

Kraftin' Kimmie's September Release!! Day Two.

Hey everyone!! Welcome back to day TWO of our SEPTEMBER Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! All of our brand new CLEAR stamp sets will be released on Saturday night!! Are you excited? Are you coming to the party?? Woohoo!
The super sweet stamp set that we're previewing today is from artist Cheryl Grant and it's called ANGEL VOICES!!!It features our fave kiddos, Lexi, Lulu and Lucas, plus a couple of their furry friends and they are going caroling!!! The set also include a star accessory stamp plus two sweet sentiments!

I just made a simple little A2 sized card using the little singing puppy accessory stamp from the Oh, Hear the Angel Voices set.  I didn't have time to do a lot of colouring, so I just stamped him up and added a halo stamp from one of Kimmie's older angel sets.  I admit, the halo is a little large, but he'll grow into it, don't you think?  I used some gorgeous patterned paper from the Bo Bunny Snowfall pad.  It matched beautifully with some light brown card stock, which I used to mat everything.  I used some vanilla cardstock for the image and also for the card base.  I used one of the sentiments from the set, 'Oh, hear the Angel Voices' and the other one is 'Do You Hear What I Hear?', which I think would have worked as well.  There is also a little singing kitty in the set and I can't wait to do something similar with it.  The main images in the set are three separate caroling children so the possibilities are endless.

All the Krafty Girls listed below have lots of super FUN designs to show you featuring these awesome new stamps from Cheryl! And while you're hopping around, be sure to leave a comment because we are giving away a gift voucher!!! You could WIN some Krafty $$$ to spend at the shop!!!! There will be one winner from all the comments this week and they will be announced at the party!

So Happy Hopping and Happy Crafting,
Diana

Wonderful Wednesday and I'm the Hostess!

Well, it's Wonderful Wednesday again and I am the hostess for this week's Challenge, which as usual on a Wednesday, is Anything Goes!  It couldn't be any simpler, could it?
This time, I made a card using one of the Pretty As A Princess set of stamps.  This one is perfect for my sweet little granddaughter, who turns 6 next week.
I coloured the cute image using my Copics, as usual and I doodled around the edge of the frame.  All my matting was done using Ballet Blue and the card base is Barely Banana!  I don't know what I'll do when I run out of the retired S.U. card stock.  I still love Barely Banana.  I used some American Crafts 'Heartland Farm' patterned papers, added some blue stitched ribbon, blue enamel dots and I stamped the 'Happy Birthday Princess' sentiment above the image layer.  I hope she likes it.

Are you going to come and party with Kimmie and the Krafty Girls?? The Krafty Koffee Krop is this Saturday!  Oh!! Kimmie's also announced a Christmas Holiday Card Kit!!! Fall at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Good morning everyone and I hope you are having a great Saturday!
As you can see, this week's challenge is Fall, so this is an opportunity for you to make a fall card for you to send to someone special.  I already have someone in mind for this one.  It's just a simple effort as the lovely paper from EP The Story Of Fall did most of the work for me.  I usually like to keep my cards fairly simple anyway, so I matted the pretty piece onto some Old Olive, then onto some Dusty Durango card stock.  The main image is a beautiful sentiment from the new Spooktacular Sentiments set.  I used some of my Nesties dies, matting the image layer onto some more Dusty Durango.  I added some matching polka dot ribbon, a couple of very cute autumn leaves from Fall Medley button embellishments by Dress it Up.  That's all I did, sometimes it's great when the patterned paper does most of the work for you.

Have you joined to Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Friends fb group yet?  There is always so much going on and you can share your creations in there for everyone to see and you can see the cards etc. from so many other gifted crafters for inspiration.

Now, let's see your fall creations for a chance to win some Kraftin' Kimmie rubber.  Just link your piccie to the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog.

Happy Stampin'

Buttons and Bows!

Hi everyone! Welcome to another challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!
We always enjoy your creations so be sure to submit them so you can have a chance to WIN a $20 gift card to the Shop!! Show us your stuff!! In keeping in line with the rest of our challenges (Wonderful Wednesday and our NEW Krafty Scrappy Challenge), we will be drawing one winner per month from all Saturday Challenge entries to win a $20 gift card!! You can enter as many times per month as you'd like!!
Have you joined the Kraftin Kimmie's Krafty Friends fb group?? It's the best place to keep up with all of the goings on as well as sharing YOUR creations and getting inspired by other Krafty Friends' creations!!!
Frugal Friday specials are up NOW! Also, I believe there are still some Halloween Kard kits available but you'd better get them quick because when they're gone, they are GONE!

I am actually very surprised that I have managed to make a masculine card using buttons and bows, but as you can see, the bows are just linen thread and the buttons are corduroy, so I think it works, don't you.  I used the rollerblading guy from the Let's Roll, Dude! set from a few months back.  The card base and matting for the image layer are Watermelon Wonder card stock and the matting behind the patterned papers, also the sentiment 'cloud' are Pool Party.  The patterned papers are from EP and are called Sweet Summertime.  I also used some Pear Pizzazz behind the circle pattern.  I added some Daffodil Delight stitched ribbon across the centre, added some doodles around the image layer and that is that.

Now create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp or any other stamp and be sure to use our THEME as a starting point for your creation!!! You will have until August 28th at 11:55 pm EST to get your entries in!
Pull out those fabby stamps and play along! Have some krafty fun and join us this week!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Hallowe'en Card Kit!!

Soooo, our Kraftin' Kimmie has been working hard creating another awesome card kit and this time it's a Hallowe'en one as it seems  nearly everyone loves a Hallowe'en Card Kit.

It becomes available at 1 a.m. Sunday morning, along with the awesome August Release.  Now I don't have a card for the release, but I did make a couple of samples to let you see what you will get in the card kit.  Kim found some beautiful patterned papers, you will see just a few of them on my cards.  I had so much fun making these!  Even though I usually enjoy picking my own papers, cardstock and embellishments, it was so nice to have it all done for me.  It made the process so much faster.  Kim chose matching cardstock as well as some gorgeous orange twine, black brads and some very cute paper sentiments etc.  I used the Boo one on my Horace card and the gorgeous stars on Frightful and Delightful.  I chose those stamps as they are two of the $7.99 Hallowe'en ones you can choose.  There are a bunch more and of course, if you have your own Hallowe'en stamps already, you can choose any stamp at that price point that your little heart desires.

Be sure to check out the fabulous new stamps and creations from the Krafty Girls at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps as well as the Kraftin' Kimmie Hallowe'en Card Kit.

Be sure to go Blog Hopping and commenting for a chance to win some wonderful new stamps from our Kraftin' Kimmie.

I have been anxious to use the new Coffee & Friends stamp, which is part of the July release.  As soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted to make a card for my dear friend, whom I had to leave behind in our home town, 3 years ago.  I sure do miss her and this stamp is perfect for her.
The card base is Daffodil Delight, as is the outer frame for the image layer.  I matted black cardstock onto the yellow.  I love using black, it makes everything pop.  The patterned paper is Beau Jardin by Penny Black and it's yummy.  I added the sentiment 'Miss You A Latte'.  There are 3 other great sentiments with this set.  I added some pretty flowers and punched out some green leaves from the green patterned paper.  I just mailed the card, I hope Jane likes it.

Now to my little creation! Last week, the hubby and I had an 80th. birthday party to go to. This gave me a great excuse to use one of the Make A Wish stamps from the Dec. release. I found some yummy Doodlebug papers called Day to Day, which had some lovely masculine patterns in it. I love the tie page, which I used for my background. I matted it onto Daffodil Delight, which was then matted onto the card base of Gumball Green. I cut out the 80 with my numbers dies, matted it onto some cute brown moustache paper cut into a circle. I set that on a zig zag circle of Poppy Parade and set that onto a little banner strip of the 'stache brown. I then stamped 'Celebrate Your Special Day' onto the checkered green piece at the bottom and added a cute little bow tie and a black moustache. It was a lot of fun making this and I was pleased with it. I hope our friend liked it too.
Wonderful Wednesdays are my favourite, especially as the theme is always Anything Goes. I hope you like it too, let's see your creations for a chance to win. Be sure to link yours up to the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog.

I used the retired Baja Breeze cardstock for my base and for the sentiment layer in the heart. There are several other baby sentiments in the set. The patterned paper is Bundle of Joy from EP. Don't you just love the animals and baby bits on the left panel? I used some Early Espresso for matting on it and the main background layer of green. For my li'l card, I used the cute little princess from the 'Believe in Fairytales' set, which is newly released just a few days ago.  I had such fun with this one and I made it for an adult, I know I would love getting a card like this.  I used Regal Rose for the card base and also for the punched out border I put down the left side on the strip of patterned paper.  The patterned paper I used is the Bella pack from Wild Rose Studio.  I matted the image layer using YoYo Yellow and Wisteria Wonder.  I used the sentiment 'Hope Your Day is Magical' which comes with the same stamp set.  I used Regal Rose card stock and layered it onto a mini doillie, which you can find at the Kraftin' Kimmie Shop.  I added a cute princess button, which also comes from the Kraftin' Kimmie Shop.  The finishing touch is a satin bow, just to make it even more feminine.
Now how about you get crafty and show us your lovely creations.  Be sure to link them up to the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog.

Wonderful Wednesday at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Well, here we are, it's Wonderful Wednesday again, time to post another Anything Goes Kraftin' Kimmie creation.  I just loved this little guy, so I had to make a card with him.  I think he's actually Huck Finn, but I thought he looked like a little farmer and made my card with that in mind.  He comes from the set 'Book Pals', which also included Pippi Longstocking and Laura Ingalls.  They are all so cute.  You can find them at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop.

I used Wild Wasabi for my card base and matted black onto the base under the patterned paper background.  The papers are Summer Fresh by Simple Stories.  I used black under the chevron strip of patterned paper and also on the image frame and the rectangle of red check.  I also used some Real Red and Daffodil Delight card stock.  I paper pieced his pants and doodled around the edges of the frame.  I added some brown and beige tiny buttons on the strip and a little piggy button onto some linen thread.  The sentiment 'Aw shucks, yer nice' comes with the set.

So now you get your trusty pencils, markers or whatever out and see what you can link to Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog for a chance to win.

Happy Stamping,
Diana

It's Wonderful Wednesday again!!

Good morning, it's Wonderful Wednesday again!  I am actually joining in on this one and sharing a card I made for my hubby for Father's Day.  The image is from the 'Wild and Crazy Guys' set.  Besides the tool guy, there is a barbecuing fellow and a golfer.  They are all awesome!!  Actually any one of them would have worked for my husband as he does a lot of building and fixing around the house, he also barbecues and he plays golf.  However, someone else I know, has made him a card with the golfer, so I chose this one.

I am away from home right now, so I am not near my craft room, but I think the patterned papers I used are 'All About A Boy'.  I used Daffodil Delight for the card base and Early Espresso to matt the papers on.  I chose 'You're A Handy Guy' for my sentiment from the set and I found a lovely dark brown wrench, which I tied onto the twill ribbon with some linen thread.  Such fun to make a card with this image.

So don't forget to join in with our Wonderful Wednesday Challenge for a chance to win some rubber.  Link up your card or creation to the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog and don't forget that WW is always Anything Goes, so no theme to worry about.  Also, be sure to check out Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps to see all the new goodies she has just brought in and also, every weekend except Release Weekend, she puts a bunch of awesome Kraftin' Kimmie stamps on sale.  These are what she calls Frugal Friday specials.

So Happy Stamping, all you gals out there.  I can't wait to get home and back to my craft room and see what I can get up to.

Pretty in Pink! Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge, April 9th.

Happy Mother's Day weekend.  I hope all you Moms out there have a wonderful day tomorrow.

I am actually joining in a Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge this weekend.  I have missed taking part with the other members of the Design Team, so I thought I would give this one a go.

What could be more fun than  'Pretty in Pink' for a theme.  Ooh, the mind boggles at what could be done with pink.  I have a very special friend in England who has a birthday coming up, so I was able to combine the two.

I used one of the Becky's Beautiful Sentiments line, this one comes from the 'Make A Wish' set.  I was spoilt for choice as there are a bunch of birthday sayings, but I chose this one as I love the sentiment and also the scroll work above and below.

I used pink card stock for the base and for the frame around it.  I matted the patterned papers, (which are Letters from Paris from Wild Rose Studios) onto Always Artichoke card stock.  I added some pink brads and a pretty pink ribbon.  Simple, but I like it.

Now it's your turn to create your own Pretty In Pink card or whatever takes your fancy.  Be sure to link your creation up to Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog to be entered into a random draw for some crafty goodies from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps shop.

Happy Stamping and Creating,

Wonderful Wednesday, May 6th.

Well, hello and Happy Wonderful Wednesday to all fellow crafters out there.  I know I have been MIA for a long time, have to confess I was in Florida for most of the winter and just did not have room to take card making supplies.  I am now so rusty, it took me hours to put together this simple card.

I used Pippi, who is one of Cheryl's gorgeous creations.  I just love her illustrations.  Pippi is one of the stamps in the set 'Book Pals'.  The other two stamps are Huck Finn and Laura Ingalls.  So lovely.

I used kraft card stock for my card base, my patterned papers are Blackberry Lane from Wild Rose Studio.  I matted them onto Kiwi Kiss card stock and the image layer and sentiment were on Pale Plum.  I added a ribbon of kraft seam binding, a few flowers and a couple of Kiwi Kiss brads.  As I said, not a complicated card, but I am so out of practice.

Be sure to enter the Wonderful Wednesday Challenge yourselves for a chance to win some new rubber.  Come on, you're making cards anyway and the theme is always 'Anything Goes'.

Happy Stamping,
Diana
