Krafty Peeks Day FOUR! It's Monkey Business!!

Welcome to Day FOUR of the JULY Release Krafty Peeks
Can you believe the amazing krafty-ness that just keeps on comin'?

Next up we have a hilariously fun new stamp set by artist Emilie Goulet!
It's called MONKEY BUSINESS!!

Don't you just love Emilie's animals?? They just have so much character and these guys are no different! The set has two crazy monkeys and FOUR fabulous sentiments!

I used this image to make a birthday card for my little brother who just turned 64.  It's perfect for him because he is a nutcase, well our whole family is crazy.  I stamped my image on Copic Xpress It and coloured it with my Copic Markers.  I used some very old sock monkey papers that I thought worked well with the stamp.  I used some retired Poppy Parade S.U. cardstock and some Gable Green S.U., which is also retired.  I added some green GG ribbon, some enamel dots and a red doillie.  The sentiment is one of four great ones that go with the monkeys and the other monkey is just as cute as this one.  I love fun stamps.

I hope you can join us for all the fun and excitement and prizes tomorrow night beginning at 7pm EST!! You can come hang out with the me and Krafty Team at our

All of the Krafty Krew and Guests listed below have lots of super FUN designs to show you featuring these awesome new stamps! And while you're hopping around, be sure to leave a comment because we are giving away a gift voucher!!! You could WIN some Krafty $$$ to spend at the shop!!!! There will be one winner from all the comments this week and
it will be announced at the party tomorrow!
Happy hoppin'!

Wonderful Wednesday, June 28th.

Happy Wednesday to all you crafters out there.  I'm afraid my card for today is very simple due to time constraints.  However, I hope my sweet little granddaughter will like it.  I used stamps from the May release set Bugs and Kisses, there are lots in the set including a mason jar to put all your bugs in.  The sentiment is also from the set.

The base is Pear Pizzazz from S. U. as is the backing for the sentiment.  The other card stock I used is retired S.U. Pixie Pink.  I used Spring Things papers from Doodlebug, see the cute little bees on it?  I also added some matching Doodlebug Sprinkles to add a little detail and shine.

Be sure to send in your own Wonderful Wednesday creation for a chance to win some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

Happy Stampin'

Wonderful Wednesday!!

Hi folks, it's Wonderful Wednesday once again.  I have just finished making this little card for a lovely couple of friends who have just moved into a new house.  I hope they like it.  I've been dying to use this adorable stamp ever since it was released in March of 2016.  It's called Happy New Home.

I used some lovely retired Pretty In Pink card stock for the base and matted some Pear Pizzazz onto it.  My patterned paper is Botanical Tea from Graphic 45 and it's gorgeous.  I used some dies to make the strips down the left side and I added a mushroom charm on some linen thread.  I added the sentiment Happy New Home, punched it out in Pretty in Pink, then used a slightly larger circle punch for a border in Pear Pizzazz.  That's it.

Be sure to make your own Wonderful Wednesday creation for a chance to win some awesome new stamps.

Wonderful Wednesday May 3rd.

Happy Wednesday to all you crafters out there.  I would not be surprised if you have forgotten who I am, in case you have forgotten, I am Kraftin' Kimmie's Mom, Diana.  I have not been around much for a while.  Much as I love to make cards and I adore my daughter's wonderful images, life tends to get in the way of the things I really want to do.  So much for the golden age of retirement.

Anyway, I digress!  As always, the Wonderful Wednesday theme is Anything Goes, which suits me really well.  I have used the adorable Lexi mailing a letter from the Snail Mail set, which was released in April 2016.  Isn't she just so cute?  The set also contains Lucas dressed as a little mailman, a kitty, a puppy, a snail and 6 lovely sentiments.  I used the 'Sending You Love' one as this card was for my amazing granddaughter.

The patterned paper is from the pad 'Spring Things', by Doodlebug.  The card base is Gumball Green from S.U. and the retired Pixie Pink, also from S.U.  The little envelope is made using Baja Breeze and I used some Prima Flowers from my stash.

We want EVERYONE to be able to play along so your submission can use ANY stamp and can be any theme, any style, any design and it can be a card, a scrapbook page, an altered item....you name it!! It must be a NEW creation and you can enter on this post until May 9th at midnight! At the end of the month one random winner will be chosen from all the submissions for the whole month and will receive a $20 Gift Card to the shop!!! What do you think.....wanna WIN?? Let's see your krafty stuff!!

Wonderful Wednesday Feb. 1st.

Hidee Ho!  It's Wonderful Wednesday again and here is my card, featuring the newly minted Squishy Hugs, at least one of the stamps in the set of two.
Once again I used some lovely retired S.U. card stock.  The base and some of the matting is Bashful Blue, which I just love and the other card stock is Marigold Morning, another one that I love.  I fortunately had some matching doilies in my stash and also some cute little Prima Flowers.  The adorable kitty cat papers are from Doodlebug and called 'Kitten Smitten'.
Did you catch Krafty Girl Elisabeth's LIVE Kolor Along on Monday? Be sure to tune in to the KKS Friends FB Group to check out the Kolor Alongs already posted and for a heads up on upcoming Kolor Alongs!

Wonderful Wednesday at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, Jan. 18th!

Well, once again I have been MIA for a while.  Actually, that's not right, I have been missing, but there has not been much action.

I was determined that I would join in this week's Wonderful Wednesday challenge.  For my little card, I have used the very cute little bear from the Buddy Bear set, which was released last weekend by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  As always, I coloured the image with my Copics, having chosen the colours from my Nana's Kids paper pad, from Premium Stacks.  My card stock choices were Perfect Plum and Kiwi Kiss from Stampin' Up, both long retired.  I really don't know what I will do when I run out of all the awesome retired shades that I love.  I used the sentiment 'You're Beary Special' from the set, which also comes with 'Hiya Buddy', 'Just Chill' and 'Time To Relax'.  The other bear image is just adorable too and I can't wait to use it.  I added some matching green ribbon, a cute teddy button from my stash and three little hearts on the image layer.  I can't wait to send this to my grandkids.  I think they will like it.

Don't forget that as always W. Wednesday is Anything Goes, so you can make any theme your little heart desires and you will be entered to win some awesome new stamps.

Happy Stamping,
Nana Diana

I made two little cards for this time.  I think I should since I don't post that often these days.  I love to make simple cards and so I find the little stamps in Kimmie's sets perfect for that.  For these cards I used the little snail and the puppy with the envelope from the April Release set, Snail Mail by Cheryl.  As you can see, they both use the same layout.  I used two different paper pads, Flea Market and Fall Friends, both from Doodlebug.  I added a pumpkin clip on one and an acorn one on the other.  I love matching the papers and cardstocks.  Hope you like them.  Now let's see your fun creations.

Well, that's all the important stuff.  Now to my card. I made this for my sweet little granddaughter, but shhhh..., her birthday is not until Sept. 16th.

The stamp I used is a little cutie from the Made With Love set, released in February and designed by Cheryl Grant.  My little sweetie likes hot pink and aqua shades, so I used a Tempting Turquoise card base and hot pink for the matting and the frame around the image layer.  I used a border punch at the bottom of the frame and also at the bottom of the horizontal strip at the bottom of the card.  I added a pink cupcake button and also found a matching orange kitty cat brad to sit with the other cat in the frame.  I doodled around the edge of the frame, added a floral type die cut behind the birthday sentiment and that's it.  Oh, I also put some stickles on the two yellow cupcakes.

Happy Stamping,
Diana
