It's Wonderful Wednesday again!!

Good morning, it's Wonderful Wednesday again!  I am actually joining in on this one and sharing a card I made for my hubby for Father's Day.  The image is from the 'Wild and Crazy Guys' set.  Besides the tool guy, there is a barbecuing fellow and a golfer.  They are all awesome!!  Actually any one of them would have worked for my husband as he does a lot of building and fixing around the house, he also barbecues and he plays golf.  However, someone else I know, has made him a card with the golfer, so I chose this one.

I am away from home right now, so I am not near my craft room, but I think the patterned papers I used are 'All About A Boy'.  I used Daffodil Delight for the card base and Early Espresso to matt the papers on.  I chose 'You're A Handy Guy' for my sentiment from the set and I found a lovely dark brown wrench, which I tied onto the twill ribbon with some linen thread.  Such fun to make a card with this image.

So don't forget to join in with our Wonderful Wednesday Challenge for a chance to win some rubber.  Link up your card or creation to the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog and don't forget that WW is always Anything Goes, so no theme to worry about.  Also, be sure to check out Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps to see all the new goodies she has just brought in and also, every weekend except Release Weekend, she puts a bunch of awesome Kraftin' Kimmie stamps on sale.  These are what she calls Frugal Friday specials.

So Happy Stamping, all you gals out there.  I can't wait to get home and back to my craft room and see what I can get up to.

Pretty in Pink! Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge, April 9th.

Happy Mother's Day weekend.  I hope all you Moms out there have a wonderful day tomorrow.

I am actually joining in a Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge this weekend.  I have missed taking part with the other members of the Design Team, so I thought I would give this one a go.

What could be more fun than  'Pretty in Pink' for a theme.  Ooh, the mind boggles at what could be done with pink.  I have a very special friend in England who has a birthday coming up, so I was able to combine the two.

I used one of the Becky's Beautiful Sentiments line, this one comes from the 'Make A Wish' set.  I was spoilt for choice as there are a bunch of birthday sayings, but I chose this one as I love the sentiment and also the scroll work above and below.

I used pink card stock for the base and for the frame around it.  I matted the patterned papers, (which are Letters from Paris from Wild Rose Studios) onto Always Artichoke card stock.  I added some pink brads and a pretty pink ribbon.  Simple, but I like it.

Now it's your turn to create your own Pretty In Pink card or whatever takes your fancy.  Be sure to link your creation up to Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog to be entered into a random draw for some crafty goodies from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps shop.

Happy Stamping and Creating,
Diana

Wonderful Wednesday, May 6th.

Well, hello and Happy Wonderful Wednesday to all fellow crafters out there.  I know I have been MIA for a long time, have to confess I was in Florida for most of the winter and just did not have room to take card making supplies.  I am now so rusty, it took me hours to put together this simple card.

I used Pippi, who is one of Cheryl's gorgeous creations.  I just love her illustrations.  Pippi is one of the stamps in the set 'Book Pals'.  The other two stamps are Huck Finn and Laura Ingalls.  So lovely.

I used kraft card stock for my card base, my patterned papers are Blackberry Lane from Wild Rose Studio.  I matted them onto Kiwi Kiss card stock and the image layer and sentiment were on Pale Plum.  I added a ribbon of kraft seam binding, a few flowers and a couple of Kiwi Kiss brads.  As I said, not a complicated card, but I am so out of practice.

Be sure to enter the Wonderful Wednesday Challenge yourselves for a chance to win some new rubber.  Come on, you're making cards anyway and the theme is always 'Anything Goes'.

Happy Stamping,
Diana
