Are you coming to our National Scrapbook Day Krafty Krop??? It starts this morning on the KKStamps Facebook Fan page!!! We've got fun challenges for you every couple of hours starting at 10am EST....lots of chit chat with the Krafty Girls.....krafty fun and PRIZES!!! You'll have almost a week to upload your submissions but a bunch of us are hangin' out and gettin' krafty together TODAY!!! Come join us!!
Also, Kimmie has a great sale going on for National Scrapbooking Day.  There are about 50 stamps and stamp sets on sale, from 20 - 50% off.  You can even find some retired stamps that Kim has brought back into the shop, but there are only a few of each, so you will want to check it out.
Now to my little effort.  I used one of the very cute stamps in the Sunshiney Day set.  I really need to play with the other two, I just love them.  For my card base, I used YoYo Yellow and matted some really yummy Fruit Stand patterned papers by Doodlebug and some Green Galore cardstock onto it.  Of course Lexi was coloured with my Copics and I used my square and scalloped Nestie Dies to frame her.  I put a strip of Fruit Stand down the left side on a piece of orange cardstock, then I tied some YoYo Yellow ribbon down the strip.  I don't really have anything for making banners, so I used a little flag die from my collection and adhered 3 of them against a piece of embroidery cord and stuck a few green gems on them.  I added the sentiment 'Have a Bright Sunshiney Day', which is one of several sentiments which come with the set  I think that's it.
Be sure to link up your creations to Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog for a chance to win the stamp Sharon is using.
Have a fabulous weekend,
Diana
