Well, once again, I've had my whining session, so now to the card. This week, our hostess with the mostest is our amazingly talented Tara, who has her own definite style, which I love. Tara wants us all to use Fairy Tale images this week and Kraftin' Kimmie does have quite a few to choose from. I chose Princess Petunia as I think I only ever got her inked up once before, so it's high time I used her again. I also used the little frog which comes with Lillith. I also used the sentiment, which comes with Prince Charming from the Dec. 2010 Release. It actually says 'To My Prince!' but I just inked up 'My Prince' as I thought it was better for this card.
I coloured Princess Petunia with my Copics, then cut her out with one of my Nesties Labels. While still in the frame, I glued the frog on, which I had of course first cut out. I used some peach chalk ink around the image. I can't tell you what papers I used as Kimmie and I often buy a pack and split it, but I guess I didn't get the front page with this one, so I haven't a clue! I stitched around all the layers, put some yummy stretchy ribbon across the front, then added some orange, peach and green flowers. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of the green dp. and set it on the side of the image.
Be sure and visit the blogs of all the other Krafty Girls and see the great cards they have made.
So now, your mission, should you choose to accept it (he he), is to make a card using a Fairy Tale image. Don't forget, one randomly chosen winner will receive the Snow White stamp as that's the one Tara has used on her gorgeous card. Happy stamping everyone!!
Blessings,
Diana
