Kimmie, Andrea and Diana's Krafty Day

Well, hi and I hope you are all having a great weekend. Yesterday Kimmie, Andrea and I spent the whole day making cards and we had a blast. I have been staying with Kimmie and Emi and Al for a few days and we have been busy, so we took the day to have fun. We all made our cards for the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge which starts today. This week, the challenge is called 'Be a Little Ripper' and you get to do tearing on your cards. Since I am the hostess for this week and I used Emelia, that is the stamp the random winner will receive, along with the accessory stamp, which is a little plane. I didn't use the plane on this card, but I have used it on a previous one.

I coloured Emelia with my new Copic markers. It's so great to be able to say that as I've always wanted Copic markers, but it wasn't until last Christmas that I got to start my collection and now I have enough to work with, yippee!! I'm no expert, but I'm having fun trying. My daughter Kraftin' Kimmie is helping me. Anyway, I digress. I framed Emelia on some Old Olive, then on some My Mind's Eye papers, then ripped the bottoms of both pieces. I pop dotted Emelia on some more My Mind's Eye patterned paper, put a strip of Blue Bayou across the middle, which I had used my border punch on. I then matted everything onto a square of Old Olive, then onto a Chocolate Chip card base. I tied some Pumpkin Pie GG ribbon across the blue strip, glued some buttons in the upper right corner, stamped 'Going My Way' from the Steampunk Sentiments on some more of the patterned paper and I was finished.

So now it's your turn to 'Be A Little Ripper' and show us what you came up with. I look forward to seeing your creations.

Blessings,
Diana
