It's celebration time at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps today!! Do you know why??? Well, actually it's for a couple of reasons! Firstly, if you've noticed the challenge number.....today is our 100th. KKS Challenge!!! Woohoo! And secondly, this month marks Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' SECOND BIRTHDAY!!! Can you believe it?? So we're doing something special to mark the occasion!
Have you ever wanted to be a Krafty Girl?? Think ya got what it takes?? Well, here's your chance to show it!! Our challenge for this week is to USE YOUR FAVOURITE KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMP! That's it...nothin' fancy! Just make us a creation featuring one of your fave KKStamps and share it on the KKStamps blog! Link it up with the little blue froggie and leave us a message in the comment section telling us that you're applying for the job! The winner will receive a package of new release stamps and will be joining us for the challenges and krafty peeks for the month of December!! (You can still play along if you're not applying to be a Krafty Girl and we'll have our regular weekly winner!)
Also, you've probably heard that tomorrow is our annual Krafty Day that we are holding for the local stampers and scrappers!! Well, we thought we'd like to do something special for our online krafty friends who can't be with us in person......so come on back tomorrow to find out what we've got goin' on!!! It's exciting!!
My goodness, I just can't believe it's been 2 whole years since my darling daughter took the exciting but very scary plunge into the world of the stamping business. I'm so doggone proud of that gal and also thrilled to have been involved since the beginning and on her Design Team! Wow!! I'm so blessed.
Well, now to my card. This week's challenge is to use your all time favourite Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp. Now that is really is a challenge and a half as I have so many that I love. I have favourites among each artist's collection, but I have to say that I have a very soft spot for this one, which is called Bench Friends. To me it just says it all on the subject of friendship. I just want to say "Awwww" every time I look at it. The papers I used are Basic Grey Origins and this is my favourite paper ever. I have been trying to get some more, but apparently it's discontinued and I can't find it. I popped a few Prima flowers on there too.
So now, how about if you make us a creation with your favourite KK Stamp. Be sure to link it up to Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog for a chance to win this weeks' giveaway stamp, which is Lavinia as that's the stamp Kraftin' Kimmie has used. Guess I forgot to tell you that she is the hostess for this week. Eek! Where is my head?!!
Don't forget also about Frugal Friday! The stamps on special this week are :- Emelia, Angry Ballerina, Rosabelle, Carlos the Crab, Sunny the Turtle and the beautiful Sympathy Quotes.
O.K., so be sure to come back tomorrow for some more exciting news. I can't wait, as it's Kraftin' Kimmie's Krafty Day and I will be there along with most of the local Krafty Girls and the fabulous Annie Rodrigue is coming all the way from Quebec to spend the day with us. It will be so awesome to meet the super talented artist whose wonderful illustrations we have been working with all this time!
See you tomorrow,
Blessings,
Diana
Happy 100th birthday to KK!! I love your sweet make Diana! Love those DPs with that image and your layout is fab! Now I wanna hug something!
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous weekend sweetie!
I agree. Your first reaction is "Awwww", but right behind that is "some" for "Awwwesome". This is beautiful paper, I love brown and greens together. (too bad it's discontinued). Also a BIG Thank you for digging up the name of the punch for me. That was so kind of you to look into it and I'm sorry to put you to the trouble. (I would have the same problem, I don't keep the names of ALL the crafts stuff I have). With Michael's coupon in hand I bought it and love it. Thanks again for your kindness and thanks for Kimmie!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute, Diana! That's one of my fave images too. It's sweet as can be.
