Hi and Happy Friday to all you folks out there. This is my first card for Kraftin' Kimmie's June Release Previews.We are all thrilled to announce that Kimmie has a wonderful new artist. Her name is Cheryl and she draws the sweetest images. We are showcasing Cheryl's work today and I chose to use 'Butterflies Flutter By'! This adorable image comes with that sentiment, which I haven't used this time. Isn't she so cute?!!
I used some ATD Flutter paper, which has quite a few sheets with butterfly designs on it. I love this one, so I matted it onto some Pretty in Pink cardstock and then onto a card base of Buckaroo Blue. I coloured the image with my Copics, cut her out using my Labels 11 Nesties, then sponged around the outside with pink chalk ink before taking her out of the die.
I used a border punch on some more Buckaroo Blue and glued it down the side with some pink taffeta ribbon on it, then I made a bow with my Bow Easy and glued it near the top. I punched out a couple of butterflies and added some gems and that' it.
