Wonderful Wednesday at Kraftin' Kimmie's!

It's Wonderful Wednesday time!! We hope you can play along!! As always....it's ANYTHING GOES!! Break out your Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and get krafty!!

In addition to the great Krafty Challenges & Wonderful Wednesday, each month we will post a Sketch. The sketch will last all month long and if you use it in ANY of our Challenges or WW's during that month you will get an additional chance to win a store gift card! You do NOT have to use the sketch, it's just a little extra boost for your mojo if ya need it!

Well, that's all the important stuff.  Now to my card. I made this for my sweet little granddaughter, but shhhh..., her birthday is not until Sept. 16th.

The stamp I used is a little cutie from the Made With Love set, released in February and designed by Cheryl Grant.  My little sweetie likes hot pink and aqua shades, so I used a Tempting Turquoise card base and hot pink for the matting and the frame around the image layer.  I used a border punch at the bottom of the frame and also at the bottom of the horizontal strip at the bottom of the card.  I added a pink cupcake button and also found a matching orange kitty cat brad to sit with the other cat in the frame.  I doodled around the edge of the frame, added a floral type die cut behind the birthday sentiment and that's it.  Oh, I also put some stickles on the two yellow cupcakes.

Wonderful Wednesday!! Sympathy.

Happy Wednesday everyone.  This week I'm posting a card I have made to send to my dear sister-in-law, who just lost her Dad.  She is a card maker herself, so I hope she likes this one.  I used Sincere Sympathy, which has several great sentiments besides this one.

I always like the idea of butterflies for a sympathy card because they seem to be so carefree and that's how I see it for someone who leaves this world.  I used Rich Razzleberry for the card base and also for the butterfly border and the frame behind the sentiment.  The patterned paper is Butterfly Glade from Wild Rose Studio.  I punched out a couple of Handsome Hunter butterflies with my Martha Stewart punch and I added some purple gems.

Krafty Hop and Release Day!

It's finally here!!!
The RELEASE of our AUGUST 2016 clear stamp sets!!!

We've released ALL SIX of the EEK-TASTIC new clear stamp sets that we've been previewing all week and we're celebrating with a super fun krafty HOP! I made this card using one of the adorable stamps from the Autumn Wishes.  I am a huge fan of Cheryl's stamps.  I used some retired Baja Breeze for the card base and the sentiment and I matted all the paper pieces onto S.U. Primrose Petals.  The sentiment is from the June Kraftin' Kimmies set called 'You're Sunsational' There are two other gorgeous images in the Autumn Wishes set along with a few sentiments.  I added some cute matching flowers at the bottom and some yummy Primrose Petals ribbon down the right side.  Hope you like it.

Kraftin' Kimmie August Release, Day 4!!!

Welcome back to our FOURTH and final day of August Krafty Peeks! It's almost time to release ALL the new SPOOK-tacular stamp sets that you've been seeing all week!

We have TWO adorable new sets to share with you today from artist, Becky Pearce! These sets can be used on their own or in combination with each other or even other Halloweenie type sets!!

First is this sweet set of feathered friends called

HAPPY OWL-OWEEN!

The set features three main images, several smaller accessory stamps and five SP-WHOO-KY sentiments for a total of THIRTEEN fabulous stamps in the set!

Next up is a fun set of GOURD-GEOUS images and friends called HARVEST BLESSINGS!

The set features three main pumpkin images, faces that you can stamp on the pumpkins if you choose, several smaller accessory stamps and four sentiments for a total of THIRTEEN

Okay, so now I'll tell you a little about my card, which is of course using one of the Harvest Blessings stamps.  I love using sentiment stamps, probably because I'm not great at colouring.  For my card base and matting, I used S.U. Tempting Turqoise.  The other colour I used is Cherry Cobbler.  I used Fall Friends patterned paper from Doodlebug, actually 4 of the different designs.  I added some Daffodil Delight GG ribbon, some mathing buttons and some super cute Prima Flowers in the lower corner.

It's also challenge day and our hostess is Tangii ! And as always during release week, the challenge is ANYTHING GOES! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with any stamp but if you use a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp you'll double your chances to WIN!! Summer! Well, it sure is!!

Happy Saturday to all you crafters out there.  If your weather is anything like ours at the moment, it's a good day to stay in and play with your stamps!!  It's going to get to 32C today and with the humidity, about 45C.  Yikes, I don't think I'll be doing any gardening today.

Our theme at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps this week is Summer and I thought this little card says it quite nicely.  The set these stamps are from is called 'Keep Swimming'.  I actually made this card for my grandson, I hope he likes it.

I used some adorable Anchors Aweigh papers from Doodlebug. The card stock I used is some retired Ballet Blue from S.U., also some retired Marigold Morning.  I do wish they would bring that shade back.  I used the 'Hope Your Day Is A Splash' sentiment from the set, added a comical little fish button and some matching twill tape.  Hope you like it.

Okay, so that's all the important stuff covered!  Now to my card.  I used one of the images from the set 'Snail Mail' to make a birthday card for a friend in England.  I think this image of the little postman is perfect for that.  It's for an older gentleman, but I think this stamp works for any age.  I used retired Close to Cocoa for the base and matting, also some gorgeous new Crisp Cantaloupe for some of the matting.  All of the papers came from Kaisercraft Hopscotch pad and I added some mid brown baker's twine and some brown pearls.  That's it, a simple card, but I hope my friend likes it.

Happy Wonderful Wednesday from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

So it's Wonderful Wednesday!  As always it's anything goes!  It's a good thing it is, as I was making a card and then realized it's out of stock at the moment.  Good thing I have another one made up and ready to go.  

For this little card, I used one of the little kitties from It's a Purr-fect Day.  The set also comes with the speech bubble.  I used the sentiment from You're a Purr-incess set, but there are several cute sentiments to choose from in the Purr-fect Day set.  I used Buckaroo Blue for my card base and also to frame the image layer.  Behind the image, I used a Scallop Edge die in Blush Blossom and I matted the other pieces with Blush Blossom too.  I used some pale pink and blue Prima Flowers with pearls in the centres and added some matching blue ribbon along the bottom.
