Welcome Willard, a Sneaky Peak at the upcoming Kraftin' Kimmie Release!!

Well, good morning and I hope you are having a nice relaxing day. This is my first post for the Kraftin' Kimmie New Release, which goes live on Tuesday. Right now I'm doggysitting for Kimmie and family while they are gone to Scrapfest in Oshawa and tomorrow they are going to a Scrapping day in Mildmay. We all went to Mildmay last year and it was a great day.

Now to my card. This is one of the new winter images and his name is Willard, isn't he cute?

I used Poppy Red, a new colour which I love, Night of Navy for the card base and the sentiment, and some cute winter paper from my stash. The sentiment is actually from the Oliver image, which comes with 'Just Chillin''! Isn't Willard just precious? That confused look on his face.....like, I've got this yummy hot chocolate, but how the heck am I supposed to drink it?? Heehee!

There are lots more awesome samples featuring the new images today! Just hop on over to the challenge blog and see who's sharing! And then all these fabulous images will be available at the KKStamps Shop on Tuesday!

Have a wonderful day!

Kraftin' Kimmie May Release Preview!

Well, as promised, here I am with my first creation for Kimmie's May Release Krafty Peeks!

This is Jack, who is all dressed and ready for the beach. I think he's so cute. All of the images from the new release are adorable and if you come back tomorrow, you will see another one here. Also, be sure to visit the blogs of all the other Krafty Girls and you can see their fabulous creations!

I used Pumpkin Pie for the base of this card and some lovely glittery DCWV Citrus cardstock for the background. I added a strip of Kiwi Kiss cardstock down the side after punching a border on it with my wave border punch, then added some Kiwi Kiss striped ribbon over it. I coloured Jack with my Copics, cut him out with some Nesties, sponged around him and pop dotted him onto the patterned paper. I put orange brads in the two left corners, then added the 'A Warm Hello' sentiment, which is from a new Beachy Sentiments set that goes perfectly with this release!!

Now hop on over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog where you can find all the links to the Krafty Girl's incredible designs!! See you tomorrow!!!

Preview for Kraftin' Kimmie's December Release!!

Good day all you stampers out there! I just can't believe it's been almost a week since I last posted. I don't know how my daughter used to post a new card every day. And she works!!
Anyway, I'm so excited as it's that time again! Time, that is to start showing a few sneaky peeks at some of the new Kraftin' KimmieStamps, which will be released on Sunday. It's even a bit early as this is officially Kimmie's December Release. The team of Krafty Girls will be showing previews today and tomorrow, then of course on Sunday for the release. We have some even more fabulous images for you this time, there are even a couple by a new artist this time, her name is Jean Grant. I will be posting one of her images tomorrow, I love her style.
The image I used today is called Gift Emmylou and she was created by our own fabulous Crissy Armstrong. I think this image is so adorable. She is named for Kimmie's own daughter, who of course is my sweet and wonderful granddaughter. Her name is Emileigh, but we've always nicknamed her Emmylou.
I used Orchid Opulence for the card base and K and Company's Berry Sweet for the patterned paper, which is matted onto Melon Mambo, which I also used for the strip between the two papers, which I used a flower border punch on. Emmylou is cut out with a labels Nestie, then popped up on a larger matching Nestie piece in Orchid Opulence. I coloured her with my S.U. Markers, sponged around her with Pink Pirouette, then finished with some polka dotted Melon Mambo ribbon, some mauve heart gems and some stickles on her bow. Phew, it takes me longer to write a description of how I made the card, than it does to make it!!
Anyway, be sure to pop around to the blogs of the rest of the Krafty Girls and see what they have created to show you.
I'll be back again tomorrow to show you the next card, meanwhile have a great Saturday, hope you find a little time for some stamping.
Blessings,
Diana
