Good Saturday morning to all you guys and gals out there. Wow, how about this crazy weather we have been having!! Sure makes me miss the pool we had at our last house. Oh, how I loved that thing, I lived in it.Anyway, now down to business, well, fun actually!! As you will have seen from the title, we have a sketch for you this week. You will be able to see the actual basic sketch at Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog. I'd make a right mess of things if I tried to stick it on here!!
Well, my card pretty much follows the sketch, so that will give you an idea. Of course, you don't have to be exact anyway, as my DD always tells me, as long as you can see the basic idea, that's alright. I coloured up 'Bookworm Jaime', one of the July Release of Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. Jaime is named for a special little friend of Kimmie's, as most of her stamps are. I think Jaime is just adorable. Wish I'd been that studious when I went to school!! I used a card base of Daffodil Delight, which I also used to frame the Jaime layer. All the rest of the papers were 'Bugs and Butterflies' by TPC Studio. I love all the caterpillars and bugs on the background papers. I used some Tangerine Tango Taffeta Ribbon across the centre, added a couple of buttons in the upper left corner, a flower on the left side of the ribbon and I stamped 'Learning is Fun' on some of the blue PP and put it in the lower right corner.
