Krafty Peeks Day FOUR! It's Monkey Business!!

Welcome to Day FOUR of the JULY Release Krafty Peeks
Can you believe the amazing krafty-ness that just keeps on comin'?

Next up we have a hilariously fun new stamp set by artist Emilie Goulet!
It's called MONKEY BUSINESS!!

Don't you just love Emilie's animals?? They just have so much character and these guys are no different! The set has two crazy monkeys and FOUR fabulous sentiments!

I used this image to make a birthday card for my little brother who just turned 64.  It's perfect for him because he is a nutcase, well our whole family is crazy.  I stamped my image on Copic Xpress It and coloured it with my Copic Markers.  I used some very old sock monkey papers that I thought worked well with the stamp.  I used some retired Poppy Parade S.U. cardstock and some Gable Green S.U., which is also retired.  I added some green GG ribbon, some enamel dots and a red doillie.  The sentiment is one of four great ones that go with the monkeys and the other monkey is just as cute as this one.  I love fun stamps.

I hope you can join us for all the fun and excitement and prizes tomorrow night beginning at 7pm EST!! You can come hang out with the me and Krafty Team at our

All of the Krafty Krew and Guests listed below have lots of super FUN designs to show you featuring these awesome new stamps! And while you're hopping around, be sure to leave a comment because we are giving away a gift voucher!!! You could WIN some Krafty $$$ to spend at the shop!!!! There will be one winner from all the comments this week and
it will be announced at the party tomorrow!
Happy hoppin'!

Kraftin' Kimmie's September Release Previews. Peek 2

Hello again all you lovely stamping fiends out there. I'm back as promised with another Krafty Peek at another Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp. Today we are all showing the adorable images of our newest artist, Emilie Goulet. I have used Balancing Elf, isn't he cute? I used my Labels Seven Nesties to cut him out, then after sponging around the edges of the image layer while still in the frame, I drew around the outside of the die on some Old Olive cardstock, then cut it out to make a frame for him. I used pretty papers from my 'Me and My Big Ideas' Christmas stack to make a layout for the card. I used Real Red cardstock for the card base and a little scrap of Bashful Blue for the sentiment, which comes from Kimmies Holiday Sentiments. I used my snowflake border punch along the bottom of the red and added some blue rick rack across the strip.
I also finished the inside of the card using one of the 'Christmas Interior Sentiments Set', which will also be released on Sunday. There are a total of 6 sentiments in this set and they are all great for the insides of your cards.

Okay, so don't forget to leave a comment on my blog and also on all the rest of the Krafty Girls Blogs for a chance to win some stamps. Links to the participating designers are on Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog. There will be 3 winners today. Two of you will each win three of the new Emilie stamps and one of you will win the Christmas Interior Set.

There will be more previews tomorrow and more winners, then on Sunday is the release and Blog Hop, so there will be more winners then as well.

Back later and Happy Stamping,
Diana

Day 2 of Previews for Kraftin' Kimmie May Release!!

So today we are featuring the new set of Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Quotes from the upcoming May Release. I love them all as they are all Scriptures. Today I have used Proverbs 27:9 and I know just who I'm going to send it to.

I stamped the Quote in Chocolate Chip on Very Vanilla cardstock, then used my Nesties Labels Four as my image layer. I then took the same die and cut around the outside of it to make a slightly larger frame to set behind the image layer. I used Old Olive for this. I popped it onto some K and Company Wild Raspberry patterned paper. I matted that onto some more Old Olive, then onto my card base of Barely Banana. I added some Pretty in Pink Flourish Accents from Spellbinders and put some green gems in the corners. A simple card, but sometimes I like simple.

***Now....would you like to win the new set of Scripture Quotes??? Then just leave some love on each of the posts from the Krafty Girls and Guests and one random commenter will WIN!!! Hop on over to the Challenge Blog to see the complete list of blogs and get commenting! We'll announce the winner tomorrow!!***

Be sure to come back tomorrow when we will be featuring another of our fabulous artists.

Blessings,
Diana

Time for Previews for Kraftin' Kimmie's May Release. Wonderful new artist too!!

Hi everyone! Yes, as the title says, it's that time again!! Yet another fantastic release of Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! I am just loving these new images, especially as we have some fresh and exciting talent joining Kimmie's team of artists.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is thrilled to introduce a new artist to the mix....her
name is Cheryl Alger! You may recognize her name from Sassy Cheryl's where she
creates digital art. Cheryl is creating a brand NEW line of images,
specifically for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! These stamps will ONLY be available at
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and ONLY as unmounted rubber stamps! Now here's a bit
about Cheryl!

I grew up outside of Staunton, Virginia, but now live in the Richmond, Virginia.
I absolutely LOVE to draw and always carry a small sketchbook with me in case
inspiration strikes me while I'm out and about.

I have been creating digital art now for about 12 years now and have licensed
my work to companies such as Kohl's, Hobby Lobby and Shopko, among others, for
over eight years. I started creating digital images about two years ago. It's
been a lifelong dream to become a working artist, and besides deadlines, I LOVE
everything about what I do! It really helps that I have a very supportive
husband and son (they also can be my biggest critics! I have to admit, I LOVE my
job!

I am using one of Cheryl's adorable images for my first card. This very sweet image is 'Spring Friends' and was great fun to colour. I coloured this cute little girl and her friends with my Copics and cut her out with one of my square Nesties. I framed the layer with some Certainly Celery cardstock and used some lovely Sandylion Girl Paper behind her. I used some Bashful Blue CS to border the block of PP on the right of the card and some Cameo Coral to mat the main PP onto. The card base is Certainly Celery. I used some Bashful Blue Taffeta Ribbon down the right side and stamped 'Sweet Springtime' on some Cameo Coral and punched it out with my oval punch. This sentiment comes with the main stamp. Be sure to check out the cards of all the other Krafty Girls as we are all showing Cheryl's images today. Also make sure you come back tomorrow and see what Krafty Peeks we have for you then!!

Oh, an update from Miss Kraftin' Kimmie herself. She is planning to give away all 3 of the new Sassy Cheryl stamps to a lucky randomly picked winner. All you have to do is leave a comment on our posts for a chance to win. So, if you do that on all our posts, you will get more chances at winning the super cute stamps. Go for it!! Kimmie will announce the winner tomorrow!!

Till tomorrow, may God Bless you greatly.

Diana
