Well, I haven't done a Wonderful Wednesday card in a while. Life has a way of taking over and preventing us from doing the little things we want to do.
I used the cute chihuahua puppy from the Furry Surprise set, which was released in January. I coloured him or her with my trusty Copic Markers, then used one of my deckle edged dies, which I love. I matted that onto some Real Red to make it pop a little. Then I sewed a straight stitch on the border of the red. I have not sewn on my cards in a long time, I should do it more often. I'm not sure of the name of the patterned papers as my DD Kimmie gave them to me. Aren't the little dog and dog houses cute? I matted both patterned papers with some turquoise, doing some more sewing on the turquoise and the card base is Marigold Morning, as is the heart with the little fire hydrant button on it.
This was a fun card to make, especially as these stamps are in honour of my little grandpuppies, Minnie and Maisie, Kimmie's sweet pups.
Well, that's it for me, be sure to visit Kraftin' Kimmie's Shop for some amazing stamps, papers, embellies and all sorts.
Happy Stampin'
