Tic Tac Toe Challenge with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

Well, welcome back for another supah fun challenge here at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!! We are LOVING your submissions!!! You're rockin' these challenges!! It's awesome to see so many of you creating with KKS!!! Keep them coming!

This week our hostess is KAREN!! And her challenge is TIC TAC TOE!! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp that features elements that you will find on the tic tac toe board below! Use three in any line....straight or diagonal! Now you will find the Tic Tac Toe plan at Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog.  I'm afraid I'm technologically challenged and every time I try to add something on here, I mess it up.  There are lots of ways you can go with this and in fact my card works two ways.  Quite by accident, I might add.  I chose Blue, Gems and Dies for my card, but it also works for Ribbon, Gems and Pink.

 I used the 'Under the Weather' stamp on my card. In fact I coloured it up some time ago, but when phoning a very dear friend in England this week,  I learned that she is bedridden with a nasty back injury and feeling very low.  As soon as I got off the phone, I pulled out the coloured image and made it into a card.  I hope it gives her a bit of a chuckle when she opens it.  Feel better soon, Maureen.  Love you lots!!  So that's it for me, hope you have fun playing Tic Tac Toe.

Yay, it's April Release Day at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

Now to my card.  I used the adorable Jack and Jill stamp for this one.  It was perfect for an Anniversary card, which I needed for some very close friends in England.  It was their 45th., which you can see I put on the card.  I used some Prima 'Jack and Jill' papers, punched out some flowers using the papers and used Gable Green and Groovy Guava cardstock, finishing off with some Groovy Guava ribbon.  Jen and Mike have received the card and were very pleased with it, I'm glad to say.

Today we have a FABULOUS collection ...... NURSERY RHYMES!!! Oh these sweet images bring back such memories and the sentiments are fabulous for some great creations!!! Just wait 'til you see how the Krafty Girls and Guests have used them!!

Well, for my card today I have used the cute Mother Goose.  Not ever being one to do things the normal way, I decided to TRY to make her a Canada Goose.  I'm not sure how well I did, but I made the effort.  I did try to go by some pictures of real Canada Geese, but I am certainly no artist as you can tell.  It was fun anyway.  The patterned papers I used are from The Paper Loft and the pad is called Huckleberry Pond.  I do love all the ducks, frogs and butterflies etc.  Not sure if any of them are actually geese, but close enough, I think.  The cardstock I used was More Mustard for the card base and for the sentiment, which comes with the main stamp along with 'Have a Happy Honkin' Day'.  I love that one too.  The papers were matted onto some retired True Thyme, as was the image layer.  I added some More Mustard ribbon, a couple of eyelets to the sentiment and Bob's your Uncle!!  Very simple, but I'm a simple kind of gal.  Just ask my family, lol!
