Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge 207. Everyday Activities!!

Well, welcome back for some more krafty fun here at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!! Hope you can play along as we've got another great challenge for ya! It's awesome to see so many of you creating with KKS!!! Keep them coming!

This week our hostess is STEPHANIE !! And her challenge is EVERYDAY ACTIVITIES!! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp that features ....well, anything you might do everyday!!! Sounds fun!! For my card I used the little ballerina from the 'Li'l Athletes' set.  She is so adorable and reminds me of my sweet and adorable 4 year old granddaughter, who is a little ballerina.  I coloured her hair to look like Tori's and she sometimes wears it like that.  I used some retired Cameo Coral for the card base and also for the frame around the image and the striped strip behind.  I used some green grosgrain ribbon on the striped piece and used a couple of Prima flowers in the corner.  I also added a moulded coral flower in the centre of the flowers and a couple at the ends of the sentiment .  For a finishing touch, I added some stardust stickles to her tutu and the flower in her hair.  The patterned papers are 'Dwell' from Six by Six.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Kardmaking Kit!!

We've had such wonderful response at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps to our Winter Kardmaking Kit, that we thought we do a little follow up HOP about it!!

As you hop around today you'll be able check out SIX fabulously festive creations from our Krafty Girls that were ALL made using only ONE KIT!! They of course used their own ink, colouring medium and white paper, but everything else can be found in these fabulous KITS!

In case you haven't heard, here's a little bit about the kit!

We’ve taken our krafty know-how and done all the designing for ya!! I love doing samples with my one twelfth of the kit that Kraftin' Kimmie sends out to us girls.  It's so easy when you have everything picked out for you.  There are so many ways to go with it and I have to say I have enough materials left over to make at least a couple of tags!!  I decided to go with a cream Neenah card stock for my image as there is cream in the patterned paper and every once in a while I like to use cream for a change.  I love the colours in the patterned paper, so wintry, yet quite different from the norm.  I had fun playing with the lovely cork strip in the kit and made a little snowflake from it. I still have lots left over, which I will use on the tags.  The 'Frosty Winter Friends' tag was cut out of the patterned paper, which has lots of tag shapes on the one side.  Love the double sided papers!!  I also love the sparkly snowflakes that I added at the bottom.  Such a fun card to make!!  I just may have to buy the whole kit myself!!

I have a friend at home in England who is not feeling well at the moment, so I thought this was a perfect stamp to use for his card.  I used the cute little Lucas stamp from the Love is the Best Medicine set.  I don't know what the papers are, I'm afraid.  I picked them a while ago and as usual I forgot to put a note with them.  I used some retired Ruby Red for the card base and also for the sentiment.  The matting is Midnight Muse navy blue.  A pretty basic card, but I think Ray will like it.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps October Release and Hop Day!!

Well, hello to everybody out there in Craftland.  I have been missing for a month other than one post I did a week or two ago.  As I mentioned, I have had company here from England for a month and I'm afraid that crafting time was one of the things that had to be neglected.  I have missed it so much.

Anyway, I'm back for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps October release and Hop Day.  I'm using one of Thais' beautiful birds from her new set, You're So Tweet!  All the birdies are so cute and they come with several lovely sentiments.  However, I badly need to get some Christmas cards made, so I used Joy, Peace and Noel from Kimmie's Holiday Sentiments.  My card is a 6 x 6 inch base, which is white.  I coloured the birdie using my Copics and cut the image out using my Peony Nesties.  I matted that onto a pretty die from MFT using Poppy Parade card stock.  My patterned papers are Aspen Frost from Basic Grey.  I finished with some crinkled olive ribbon and some olive pearls.  I feel so good that I finally had time to make a card.  I have missed you terribly, my little craft room!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Scarecrow, Retired, Boo Hoo!!

Yes, this cute li'l scarecrow is now retired and it is a Steven Leary stamp from a couple of years ago.  I just love it and I have used it to make a birthday card for one of my adorable great-nephews in England.  A simple card, but I like it and I hope he will.  Kimmie still has an adorable scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz release, I love him too and it's a great time to be using these little guys.

I hope to be back in action very soon after having my cousin here from England for the past month.  It was fun but I am ready to get back to doing some of my favourite things, cardmaking being high on my list.

What more can I say?  Kimmie gave me ('cos I live near her and I picked my stuff up, right from the boss) my one sixth of a Krafty Kard Kit and I chose to use Meowy Christmas, the adorable kitty in a Christmas stocking stamp.  I have coloured and used this image a few times and it's one of my faves.  I had so much fun making this card as I didn't even have to choose my card stock and papers etc.  It was all there for me!!  In fact I had quite a bit of stuff left over, which I gave back to Kimmie and I believe she has made a tag or two with it.  That's awesome!!

 Well, that's it for me for now.  I have a cousin coming to stay with me tomorrow from England.  She will be here 4 weeks, so I don't know how much crafting I will get done.

Yay!!! It's finally time for the August Release from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

Well welcome back!! We're so excited! It’s our AUGUST RELEASE Day at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!! And we’re celebrating with a KRAFTY HOP!!

Over the last few days in our Krafty Peeks, we have shared lots of AMAZING new stamps from all our artists for our Halloween release! We’ve got something for everyone!! We've got TWO WICKED new sets from Nicole.......FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE! and TIME FOR A COFFIN BREAK!! We’ve got TWO sweet new TRICK OR TREATER sets from Cheryl……HEY GHOULFRIEND! and YOU'RE FANG-TASTIC! We have a spoooky but cute new set from Thais Narciso ...... HAPPY HAUNTING! and also artist Rachelle Anne Miller has a trio of awesome new stamps of FABULOUS FALL ! WHEW!!

My first card uses the gorgeous new Rachelle Anne Miller stamp Fall Fun!  And it was so much fun to colour!!  These little characters are so cute and different.  It's always so exciting for we girls on the team to work with new and different images.  You may recognize that the card was made using the Krafty Kardmaking Kit.  It was so easy having all the card stock and papers and in fact, everything already picked out.  It made my work, if you can call it that, (which come to think of it, you can't), so much simpler. 

This is my second card. I just had to try one using this adorable haunted house.  Now I have to confess I am not really a Hallowe'en person and I will always stick to the cutesy stamps, not anything creepy, but I just love this simple little cute stamp from the 'Time For A Coffin Break' set by our super talented Nicole!!  It was a much quicker colouring job for this little guy, so the images in this set would help you to whip up your Hallowe'en cards very quickly.  I actually used a couple of scraps of my older papers and added a little bit of interest using my M.S. Drippy Goo Punch.  I just love that thing!  The Happy Haunting sentiment comes with the set too, along with several other cute sayings.
