July Hop Day

Happy Hop Day, everyone!!  For my hop day card, I chose the re-released Ahoy Sailor stamp set.  I just love this and was so glad Kimmie released it again as it gives me a chance to use it again.  Now I've used this particular stamps, I really want to use the other two main images, which are just as adorable.  The sentiments are awesome too.  I'm not sure whom I will send this too, so I used the 'Ahoy Sailor'.  I used Poppy Parade for the base and most of the matting, the rest of it is Night of Navy.  The patterned paper pad is Ahoy There by Carta Bella.  I added an anchor brad at the bottom.

 

   Woohoo!!!

Today we are celebrating all the new fabulous goodies in our July Release that are NOW available in the

 This is my card for Day Two of Krafty Peeks.  I used the little Hawaiian boy playing his drum.  Such fun to colour!  Coloured of course with Copics and I added a very cute palm tree that matches the stamp set.  I coloured it with Bo Bunny Glitter Paste for the green and I used Smooch Molasses for the trunk.  I also added a palm tree brad and a butterfly button.  The base is Lemon Lime Twist, Marigold Morning for the matting and the sentiment, some green ribbon and the patterned papers are Destination Paradise by Me and My Big Ideas.  It's a very old pad, but I thought it was perfect.

You'll see more of our July goodies all week, and then everything will be released after our LIVE Online Release Party on Saturday afternoon at 2pm ET in the Krafty Friends facebook group!

Good morning everyone.  I used the succulent stamp as I had some suitable papers to go with it.  I love the colours in it and was able to find some Fresh Fig and Lucky Limeade cardstock to match.  I also found some nice satin ribbon in my stash to add.   I used the sentiment 'My Life Would Succ Without You'.  A simple little card, but I am pleased with it.
Of course today is also challenge day and as always during release week, it's Anything Goes!  So create a card, scrapbook page, altered item, planner page....with some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products for your chance to WIN the monthly prize!

I have made a card using the gorgeous pirate ship.  Fortunately I have some awesome Doodlebug patterned papers to use for the background.  I love matching stamps with cool papers.  This stamp set has so many great stamps you can mix and match with or without the ship.  There is even a monkey, an anchor and several great sentiments.  Being from Cornwall, England where there were lots of pirates in years gone by, I am partial to the 'Shiver Me Timbers' sentiment as there are still some Cornish folks who would still be heard to say 'It Be Yer Birthday' and many other similar sayings.  Anyway, now I'm homesick so I will stop.  Happy krafting everyone.

Shell - O

 Good morning everyone!  I actually made it on the first day of peeks.  This one is the re-release of the very whimsical stamp set Shell - O.  I used the cute cross eyed jellyfish for my card.  So much fun!  I hope to be back tomorrow with another peek.  Have fun peeking!

Lucky Ducks Day at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 Well, happy Saturday everyone!   Today's Sneak Peek at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is the fabulous set 'Lucky Ducks' by Kim's wonderful artist Neda!!  I so love all her images.  I used the November 2020 sketch although I did change it quite a bit.  I used two of the adorable little duckies, there are seven of them, so lots of choice and they are all so amusing.  Each one has it's own character.  I will have lots of fun with these.  There are also four sentiments and a couple of additions like the top of the shell the baby is coming out of and a little splash of water.  I used 'Hope Your Day Is Ducky', which I love.

I used a pumpkin coloured base and I matted the Bo Bunny 'Believe' patterned paper onto Tempting Turquoise from S.U.  It's retired now, but thankfully I still have a little left.  Don't forget to check out all the blogs and leave us some love for a chance to win some gorgeous stamps after the release on Sunday.

Thursday's Sneak Peak! Forest Friends

 

Good morning krafters!  Today is the sneak peak of Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps adorable set Forest Friends from the upcoming release.  On my card I used the adorable little bunny with the flower from the set which we are peeking today.  I just so love all the whimsical images.  There are so many cute ones in this set, more bunnies and even a squirrel with a mushroom for an umbrella.  There is also a lovely log to sit them on and a tree with leaves dripping rain as well as puddles, rain drops and the sentiment 'Here for You Come Rain or Shine'.  For my sentiment, I used 'A Flower Blossoms For It's Own Joy'.

I used Pink cardstock for the base and Gable Green for the matting.  The patterned paper is Hippity Hoppity from Doodlebug.  I added some matching dots and used the sentiment from yesterday's sneak peek set, Springtime Sentiments.  Hope you like what I think is a nice springlike card.
