Wow!! Wonderful Wednesday again.

Well, this time for Wonderful Wednesday, I thought it was time to make another Christmas card.  I so love these little reindeer.  They work so well for many different things.  They are from the Reindeer Games set and there are four designs, all of which are so cute and there are several adorable accessory stamps such as a yule log, a north pole sign, a hat, star and a couple of little presents.  Also there is a gorgeous little log cabin scene.  On top of that, there are five sweet sentiments, all of which are perfect.  In fact I have a bunch of these little guys cut out and ready to go on Christmas tags.  So cute!!

Okay, so I used S.U. Pool Party for my card base and matted the Santa Express patterned paper onto Poppy Parade cardstock.  I used one of the sentiments from the set, 'Sending You Warm Thoughts This Christmas' on one of the strips of cardstock and added some Sprinkles Shapes holly near the top.

For my card, I used the hard working squirrel from the Furry Holiday Wishes.  I also used the November Sketch for inspiration.  My card base is white and the other card stocks are Ruby Red and Always Artichoke.  The patterned papers are The Story of Christmas from Echo Park.  You can't see it, but I used some Diamond Dust on the snowball and the snow.

The Magic of Christmas!

Hi everyone! Welcome to another challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

The theme this week is Magic.  I thought it was a great way to use the KK 'Believe In The Magic Of Christmas' sentiment from the lovely set of sentiments from September 2015, The Magic of Christmas  I love this set, there are eight wonderful sentiments, which can be used as the focal point on your card or as the inside sentiment.  I love sentiments and tend to use them a lot on the front of my cards, it's especially handy if you are in a hurry and don't have time to colour up an image.

I used the patterned papers from a gorgeous pad called A Christmas Story from First Edition papers.  They are so vintage and take me back to a simpler time.  I used the gorgeous holly die cut  on the left.  The card stock is long retired True Thyme, which works perfectly with the papers.  I used it for the card base too and for one of the layers behind the sentiment.  The red I used is also retired Ruby Red, which I love.  So many of the retired S.U. card stocks are my favourites.  I added a Prima poinsettia for an extra little pop.

Wonderful Wednesday with Owls!!

Good morning, stampers!  Well, it's Wonderful Wednesday time again.  Today I have a little card I made using the Kraftin' Kimmie stamp set You're A Hoot.  This lovely set has four different adorable owls, three sentiments and several other stamps, one of them being the branch my owls are sitting on.  I have used these two owls to make anniversary cards, Hallowe'en cards and all sorts.  They are so versatile.

The card base and image background use S.U. Marigold Morning.  The other colours of cardstock I used are Kiwi Kiss and retired Ruby Red. I used some GG ribbon, metallic dots and I even used eyelets.

Fall Colours Challenge!

Hi everyone! Welcome to another challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

So the challenge this week is Fall Colours.  I love making Fall cards, so I really wanted to do this one.  I used one of the stamps from Harvest Blessing, which was released in August 2016.  I wanted to try colouring on kraft paper, I don't know if I ever have done so before.  I kind of like it.  The card base is also kraft paper and I matted with Kiwi Kiss and Pumpkin Pie from S.U.  The patterned papers I used are called Fall Friends from Doodlebug.  The sentiment Happy Autumn is also from the same set.  Perfect for a simple fall card.

Wonderful Wednesday! Sept. 13, 2017

Hi everyone and Happy Wonderful Wednesday!!

As always, Wednesday is Anything Goes.  My favourite because I can make whatever I wish.  My card today uses Snail Mail, which was released in April 2016.  I just love this little guy and have used him several times.  So perfect for mailing.  The set comes with a Lexi holding a card ready to mail, an adorable kitty, a cute little dog with a letter in it's mouth, a snail and a mailbox, all of which can be used in combination or separately.  It also has 5 sentiments, one of which I have used.

My cardstocks are Kiwi Kiss and Daffodil Delight.  I used Spellbinders Dies, a border punch and some metallic dots.  Unfortunately, I have forgotten what patterned papers I used.

Wonderful Wednesday Rainbow Colours!

Hi everyone and Happy Wonderful Wednesday!!  This card should have been made for this week's Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  The theme is Rainbows.  I went to the effort of looking for some rainbow patterned papers to use for the card, then I ran out of time and didn't get it done.  Therefore, I made it anyway and since it's always Anything Goes for the Wednesday Challenge, I could do whatever I liked.  The stamp I used was released in August '17 and it's from the Happy Fall Y'All set.  The sentiment is actually a retired one from Kraftin' Kimmie, I really wanted to use it as I am going to send the card to my wee granddaughter for her birthday.  The patterned papers I used are from Lawn Fawn and are aptly named Rainbow Plaid.  The card stocks are Orchid Opulence and Cool Caribbean, sadly both are retired Stampin' Up colours.  I added some Prima Flowers and some Light Orchid Grosgrain ribbon and some litte purple gems.  I also used the September sketch.
