Have a Mice Christmas!

 Good Saturday morning everyone!  I hope you are going to have a great weekend.  

I had lots of fun yesterday playing with a fairly new set of dies and this is what I came up with.  Today is the last peek of the September stamp sets, this one is called Mice Christmas and I love it.  Yet another fabulous creation from our own Krafty girl Sabrina.  I love each new set more that the last one, if that's possible.  The set contains 7 fabulously cute images, all adorable.  I used 3 of them and now I can't wait to create with the others.  There are also 2 great sentiments.  I used the 'Have a Very Mice Christmas' on my card and the other one is 'Santa Paws is Coming to Town'.  So cute!!  

I used some very old Christmas patterned paper from Me and My Big Ideas.  The card base is Real Red and the sentiment layer is long retired Bashful Blue.

Hay You!!

  Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the August Release

This fabulous Fall set is perfect for all your Autumn projects and with lots of fun sentiments you'll be using this set to send lots of hello's.

Don't you just love this adorable scarecrow?  He was fun to colour and I love using fall papers for my cards.  I think I make more fall cards than any other kind.  This stamp set contains  a bunch of fun stamps, there is a haystack with a cute little creature peeking out, also pumpkins, a leaf and a cute crow as well as the one on the scarecrow's head.  There are also four great sentiments.  I know this is a set I will use a lot.

I used Pool Party card stock for my base, chocolate chip for matting the main papers and tangerine tango to matt the image layer.  I used the Happy Harvest sentiment on my card.  Hey, I even turfed out my mulberry paper and used a little of that.  The ribbon is also Pool Party.

July Hop Day

Happy Hop Day, everyone!!  For my hop day card, I chose the re-released Ahoy Sailor stamp set.  I just love this and was so glad Kimmie released it again as it gives me a chance to use it again.  Now I've used this particular stamps, I really want to use the other two main images, which are just as adorable.  The sentiments are awesome too.  I'm not sure whom I will send this too, so I used the 'Ahoy Sailor'.  I used Poppy Parade for the base and most of the matting, the rest of it is Night of Navy.  The patterned paper pad is Ahoy There by Carta Bella.  I added an anchor brad at the bottom.

 

   Woohoo!!!

 This is my card for Day Two of Krafty Peeks.  I used the little Hawaiian boy playing his drum.  Such fun to colour!  Coloured of course with Copics and I added a very cute palm tree that matches the stamp set.  I coloured it with Bo Bunny Glitter Paste for the green and I used Smooch Molasses for the trunk.  I also added a palm tree brad and a butterfly button.  The base is Lemon Lime Twist, Marigold Morning for the matting and the sentiment, some green ribbon and the patterned papers are Destination Paradise by Me and My Big Ideas.  It's a very old pad, but I thought it was perfect.

Good morning everyone.  I used the succulent stamp as I had some suitable papers to go with it.  I love the colours in it and was able to find some Fresh Fig and Lucky Limeade cardstock to match.  I also found some nice satin ribbon in my stash to add.   I used the sentiment 'My Life Would Succ Without You'.  A simple little card, but I am pleased with it.

I have made a card using the gorgeous pirate ship.  Fortunately I have some awesome Doodlebug patterned papers to use for the background.  I love matching stamps with cool papers.  This stamp set has so many great stamps you can mix and match with or without the ship.  There is even a monkey, an anchor and several great sentiments.  Being from Cornwall, England where there were lots of pirates in years gone by, I am partial to the 'Shiver Me Timbers' sentiment as there are still some Cornish folks who would still be heard to say 'It Be Yer Birthday' and many other similar sayings.  Anyway, now I'm homesick so I will stop.  Happy krafting everyone.

 Good morning everyone!  I actually made it on the first day of peeks.  This one is the re-release of the very whimsical stamp set Shell - O.  I used the cute cross eyed jellyfish for my card.  So much fun!  I hope to be back tomorrow with another peek.  Have fun peeking!
